Her phone displays '3:22am' causing her to groan. She hates waking up in the middle of the night, it means she won't be able to sleep for hours.

She stares up at the ceiling, allowing herself to wonder and get her head straight.

What are you going to do about all this Vee?

She doesn't know. She has a weird sensation running through her that she's never felt before. The dream she woke up from contained him. Him smiling, him being sweet, him taking care of her.

Do you like him?

Again she doesn't know. She's never felt such way before. Yes, she's had little high school crushes, but they were nothing -- her mind was filled with too many things to really worry about them.

But he has managed to fill her mind. Ever since they initially met her mind has always been wary of him, now he just crowds her thoughts. She has mixed emotions about it as she cannot focus; he stops her.

She decides to get out of bed, grabbing her phone to use as a flashlight. She walks out and stares at his door closed in front of her.

Are you sure you want to do this?

"Nope" she mumbles but walks towards it anyway.

She softly knocks on it but decides it's no use, turning her back to it and sliding down it to sit on the floor. She sighs arching her head up to look at the ceiling. She doesn't know what has come over her, she just wants another hug; unconsciously craving his touch.

Simon eyes squint, waking to the sound of a knock. He sits up and rubs his eyes before getting up and out of bed. He makes his way over and opens the door, looking down to find Vanessa sitting on the floor.

She looks up at him with innocent eyes. "Nessa?"

"Sorry, I can't sleep" She mutters standing up from her spot, but soon steps back noticing how close they were when she done so.

"So you came to me?" He questions.

"Sorry" she apologises again, "I'll leave" she turns to walk back but Simon grabs ahold of her arm pulling her into him; quite a bold move. It startles her slightly, feeling arms snake around her waist.

"It's okay" he mumbles, resting his head on top of hers, "put your feet on mine" He commands softly. She steps back slightly to stand on his feet and he walks back, taking her with him and turning into his room.

She giggles lightly at the gesture, remember it seen being done by parents to their children or when someone can't dance so their partner allows they to stand on their feet.

Simon lifts her lightly, off his feet before placing her on the ground again to then turn her to face him, "what do you want to do?" He smiles, still holding her waist.

"I don't know, I just know I can't sleep" She huffs.

"We can lay in bed and talk until you can" He suggests. She agrees and they both walk over to the bed sliding in under the covers. They stare at each other to begin with.

"So..." She breaks the silence and the staring contest between them both.

"What do you want to talk about, it can be anything" Simon whispers and she chuckles.

"I don't know, I'm not that great with starting conversation" she mumbles and they both chuckle.

"Okay well then I'll start." Simon then brings up a random topic; Halloween. And the two discuss it together for ages, going on from Halloween to scary movies to fears and phobias all the way to COD zombies strangely enough.
