They wake up together on their final day. She gets up in an instant taking a shower; her least favourite activity at the moment. It's not that she doesn't like showers, she usually loves showers.
It's as of recently, each and every time she is tormented, always ending up with herself in tears, breathing heavily; hyperventilating.
Thankfully it hasn't grabbed the attention of Simon like it did yesterday morning.
Rather he's been busy and so has she. He records and edits as she packs her bags. It hasn't dawned on either of them that they won't be able to see each other every day by walking to the opposing bedroom door; not yet.
It doesn't take Vanessa long to pack. She doesn't have much. She sighs zipping up her suitcase; now she has the rest of the day to do as she pleases until about seven tonight, in which she leaves.
She grabs her book, sighing quietly. All of her friends are busy on her final day.
They'll just forget you once you leave.
Her jaw clenches, and she furrows her eyebrows before quickly shaking her head. She begins reading in hope for them to shut up. Her eyes glide along the pages but it's not being processed.
Vanessa, you know it's true. They'll forget you and it will all go back to normal; as if this two weeks didn't happen. But you, you'll remember and it will eat you alive. They'll be dreams and random things that remind you through the day. These boys have gotten too close to you Vanessa, way too close.
She squeezes her eyes closed, wanting, trying to silence them. They are so controlling, having the the ability to manipulate her emotions, change her thoughts; completely shut her down.
You're in love with this attention, attention you don't deserve. What does Simon like in you, hey? It's no feelings that are permanent. You were the easy grab, the girl across the hall. He just used you when he was lonely, needing some company.
Now he's got what he wanted. It was all leading up to the events of yesterday. And now look at him, he's busy, not spending time with you on your final day!
Vanessa starts crying. She hates that she can't be alone right now. Whenever she's alone it's this, it's always this.
She's not okay.

Vik finishes a recording and sighs, he needs a break. He stands from his chair and walks out. He stops at the stairs, remembering It's Vee's last day.
He walks down the hallway instead, hearing JJ yelling as he walks past his room and up the stairs. When he gets to the top, both doors stand closed. He walks and knocks on Vee's door, "Vee?"
No answer. Instead of leaving he opens up to check up on her. He peeps in to hear heavy breathing and sniffling, the bed is made with a suitcase sitting on the top, "Vee?"
He opens the door completely to find her in a ball on the floor, shaking and crying. Her eyes looking as if they are completely glazed over, taken from reality.
"Vanessa?" Vik speaks softly walking over cautiously. She doesn't answer, just stares into space. It isn't until he leans down and grabs her shoulder that she snaps back into reality, staring innocently up at him with blood shot eyes. "Are you okay?" He questions.
