Carson's POV

After I called Eric, and the others, I immediately went in the cafeteria, grabbing some water for my brother, mother and I. My brother is 7 years old and has a problem on speaking. He has never spoken in since our dad left and my mother and I had a hard time, although we managed through it.

I went back and handed them their water at the same time as Eric, Shane, Austin, Justin, Wesley, and Keeley barged in the hospital door with a terrified look on their faces. Eric's face is worse though. He had tears rolling down his cheeks, eyes blood red, and hair messed up. He looks like shit, like me.

When he saw me, he ran towards me as fast as a turbo and punched me, straight on my nose. My mom and brother suddenly stood up and defended me. I probably deserved that. I shouldn't have left my wallet there, I shouldn't have let her come in, I shouldn't have let her in this mess.

"What was that for?" My mom yelled at Eric, harshly may I add, but Eric didn't seem to care. Wow, I should give him a reward for that. My mother is scary when she's mad.

"This is all his fault! He's the reason why my sister is in ER, fighting not to die." He yelled at my mother. I would laugh at that but now isn't the right time. "And have I ever told you that her worst fear is getting shot by a freaking gun? I warned you not to hurt her emotionally and physically." He looked at me, disgustingly. Now that gained everyone in the waiting room's attention. They look at us, with sympathy.

"It's not his fault. He didn't shoot her. He's not the bad guy here, Drake is. Don't worry, he's sent to jail. I'm sorry about your sister though, but you can't just go and blame it on my son. He's not a killer. He will never kill anybody, unless it's a bad person who deserves to die." My mom said calmly. She's probably guilty on shouting at him, most of all at the situation like this. All of our friends were now sitting on the available chairs. Austin has his head on his hands, shoulders shaking. Justin and Wesley were comforting Keeley while she's breaking down. And Shane was comforting Eric while he was crying. On the other hand, my brother and mother was comforting me as I shake in anger.

Eric, suddenly, went by Keeley's side and hugged her. All of her sobbing subsided a little bit, but tears still running down her puffy, red cheeks. Justin started at them, like it's a frog making out.

Then, a women suddenly burst through the doors, panicking, and trembling. She looks like she was going to pass out any second now. She looks like she's around 39 or 40.

"Crystal Jensen?" She asked the receptionist. At the sound of Crystal's name, all of us snapped our eyes at her. Eric immediately ran towards he and hugged her. Then Wesley and Keeley did too. I supposed that Keeley and Wesley is close to her. Of course it's their best friend's mother.

"Where is she?" She asked them. They pointed towards the door Crystal was in. "Oh god." She muttered.

"She got shot by gun." Eric told her.

"She's always afraid of being shot. She hates hospitals, too." He mother said, the same thing Eric had said to me.

"Yeah." Wesley said with a worried face.

"She got shot before, you know.." He whispered, as soon as Eric disappeared, guiding his mom to the cafeteria, and that shocked me. "She was walking down the park with her father when she was 10. Then all of the sudden, there was screaming and people running around, panicking. Crystal and her father doesn't even know what was happening but started running as well. A man with gun appeared in front of her and shot her on the arm. He was about to shoot on her father's head but the police siren was blasting through the park. The police had an ambulance with them so they took Crystal to the hospital, with her father on her side. Yes, she's quite good at fighting but she never thought she would ever got shot again. She always tries compose herself when she sees a gun. She's strong, you know."

"And I believe she's going to make it through that surgery." He silently added.

Eric and his mom came back again. She introduced herself to my mother, brother and I. She seems nice. She's sweet like Crystal.

The doctor came and that made all of us stand up. "The Jensen?" She asked.

"Us." Her mother said, holding Eric's arms tightly. She's shorter than him by a few inch.

The doctor looked at them for a few seconds and said, "I'm sorry but there's a little problem."
