It was a perfect monday morning. (Odd right? Who the heck likes mondays?) I looked out my window to see the sun shining down on the freshly cut grass. I asked my phone the temperature.
"It is currently, 89 degrees, outside," she said in her robot voice that everyone seemed to love.
I got out of my pajamas and changed quickly into my work clothes. I looked in the mirror at myself. I felt confident I would get complimented on my new pants. They were super cute, but of course appropriate for the workplace.
I put on my Gucci shoes which my boyfriend, Jason, got for me as a gift for my 24th birthday. They looked very expensive and for some reason, ever since I was a kid, I loved when I wore expensive looking things.
Jason usually leaves about an hour before me because his work starts earlier because he's the head in my department, but he takes the Ford and I take the Mercedez. He knew how much I loved the car and how much I loved the way the leather felt on my back and neck. He knew me too well if you ask me.
Pluto, our dog the golden retriever ran up to me as I was walking to the kitchen to make myself an omelette. He jumped on me getting his golden hair all over my new pants. "Pluto!!" I said in disbelief, looking down at my new pants I was so excited to wear. He looked away and put his ears down, he knew exactly what he had done.I went to the laundry room and tried to use the lint remover to get the hair off of me. It worked but there was some left, but I soon realized it was 8:45, I had 15 minutes to get to the office.
