I looked up at the clock, it was 12:17PM. It was my lunch break. I went to the lounge just to see my lunch, gone again. I sighed and went back to my desk and ate my canned ravioli instead of my pasta with alfredo and veggies from last night's dinner. I turned off my computer monitor and went to Jason's office.
As I was about to walk in I saw Jason and the blur of another person who seemed to be... On him? I thought for a second and accidentally hit the door.
"Hello?" I heard Jason say.
I walked away. I didn't know if he was working with someone, maybe telling them something, but he couldn't have been cheating....
I was a few feet away when Jason opened the door and a young blonde named Jessica walked out behind him quickly with a few binders in her arms. She was looking down as if she were angry. Her hair was messy and her blouse was undone at the top.
"Rebecca?"
I didn't respond.
"Answer me."
"What seems to be the problem?" Dad came out of no where.
"Mr. Benly! Hey buddy," he tried to fist bump my father. Dad looked at him and smiled and walked towards me.
"What's wrong pumpkin?"
"Dad... I have to tell you something," my eyes started to get watery.
"Of course sweetie, come with me to my office."
