Chapter 8

"we are almost there baby"

"I can't take the pain Connor it hurts and there is too much blood coming out I feel kinda dizzy. " suddenly liz fell asleep.

"we're here baby," but when he turned towards Liz she was colorless. Her once pink lips were now pale. Connor ran into the hospital and started to panic.

"My girl she is in my car and there Is blood everywhere and she won't respond to me! Please someone help! " as soon as those words came out of his mouth doctors and nurses were all around him.

"where is your car sir?" a doctor asked.

"follow me." as they all ran out side to his car the noticed that Liz has lost even more blood.

"I'll carry her you two go and get a room ready,  come on people she has lost a lot of blood. Hurry! We will try and save her."

"What about our baby??" the doctors ran off with Liz and disappeared. Connor ran into the hospital still In a state of shock.

"where is Liz wrights room? "

"one moment sir this man was in front of you."

"I don't fucking care about who was first. My girl my precious angel is hurting and I need to be by her side. Please"

"She is in room 119b"

"Thank you, thank you so much. " Connor ran as fast as he could counting the rooms on each side of the hall way. 116a, 117b, 118a,119b. There is was. He walked in slowly. The room was big. Maybe to big for just one patient. He pulled the curtain  back seeing a sleeping Liz. Still pale but her color was coming back. Connor walked over to her beside and grabbed her hand waiting for her to wake up. It's the next morning and Liz still hasn't a woke. Then the nurse came in. 

"you haven't slept huh? " speaking to Connor. 

"You can tell"

"honey when you work here as long as I have you notice everything. You should get some sleep anyways she won't be waking up anytime soon. "

"why not? "

"She is on some medicine to help her sleep. She might wake up in an hour or two."

"okay thank you"

Connor arranged the chairs so he can lay down and before he could blink he was out.

Liz finally awakes to see Connor laying right next to her on the chairs.
The doctor came into her room.

"so Liz, correct. Okay then Liz I have a few questions to ask you before I tell you the news."

"Where is my baby??"

"well it says here you were born in California...what are you doing all the way out here in London?"

"london," Liz whispered.

"what was that dear?"

"Nothing. I'm here with my boyfriend we just moved out here." The doctor looked and her then smiled.

"Well what do you think of London so far? "

"oh it's so beautiful. I love the weather here" Liz lied since she had only been out side the house maybe twice.

"That's lovely dear"

"Is this you boyfriend?" he smiled pointing to Connor.

"yes" liz smiled. Finally realising her feelings for him.

"He is a lucky man"

"maybe I'm the lucky one here" she said under her breath.then Connor woke up.

"Liz baby your okay!" he said kissing her face multiple times.

"Yeah I'm fine but I don't know about our baby"

"Wait what?? "

"Yes sir she is correct, but now that your both awake I could tell you.  It always breaks my heart to do this but I'm sorry you lost the baby. "
