Obsession a Story of a Teenage Girl

Chapter 9

"We lost the baby? " Liz repeated

"yes, I'm sorry."

"No, No, No,  No that can't happen. God please let this be a dream. " Liz started to shake and cry. Connor trying to be strong for Liz comforts her, but he is also fighting back the tears.

"I'll leave you two." As the doctor walked out Liz completely broke down. 

"My baby. Why my baby? " Connor held her tighter trying to calm her down.

"NO! Don't you touch me!"Liz said looking directly at Connor.

"This is your fault! If you hadn't taken me away from my family and friends I wouldn't be feeling this pain. It's your fault we are in this mess."

"Shhh baby it's okay," Connor said not letting go of his grip " I know how you feel trust me it hurts me too." Liz cried and cried until she fell asleep again. Connor just sat there next to her motionless in a daze.

It's the next morning. Liz is still asleep and Connor is still motionless by Liz's side. The nurse came into the room leaving food for Liz.

"I'm so sorry for you guys. If it means anything I'm sure you guys would have made wonderful parents. " Connor just nodded and she walked off.

It's been a week since they heard the news. Liz has not left her room once or ate. As for Connor he mopes around the house in his sweats. Neither has spoken to one another afraid of what might come out of there mouths. Night has taken over and Liz finally comes out of her room only to go straight to the kitchen. She grabbed a piece of bread and started to walk out.

"Liz?" Connors voice was quiet.

"yes? " she said with very little strength. Connor started to walk toward her grabbing her hand gently.

" let's go to my room I don't want you to be alone anymore. Your not the only one who lost something. "

"are you sure? You never let anyone in your room. Not even the maids"

"I'm sure. Come on let's go." Holding Liz's hand he guides her to his room. Liz was nervous. Was she the first girl to go to his room.

As if Connor read her mind he spoke " you know your the first girl and person I have ever brought to my room."

"I don't want to seem rude but why now, why me?"

"cause your the first girl I've actually fallen in love with." liz blushed and Connor noticed making him laugh a bit. As soon as they got to his room he opened the door and even though she as seen it through the a vent she was still in shock. Instead of asking questions and staying up later she just followed Connor to his bed and  laid down. Before she knew it Connor had wrapped his arm around her and fell asleep. Soon after so did Liz.
