Chapter 11

Jessie's P.O.V

So tonight Danny's taking me out but I don't know where. We're going at 7, so Leigh and Amelia will be in bed, and Jade can look after herself. I've asked Jade to help me chose what to wear because I think Danny's told her what kind of thing would be good. She comes into the bedroom..with Leigh in her arms.
"So what do you need help with?" Jade asks.
"I don't know what to wear!" I exclaim. Jade walks over to my wardrobe and picks out a black dress. I'm not sure about that one, I haven't worn it for ages.
"Are you sure?" I say, doubtedly.
"Trust me!" Jade exclaims.

At 7, Danny comes to me after putting Amelia and Leigh to bed.
"Ready babe?" He asks. I nod. We walk outside to the car.

When we got to the restaurant, which was only 10 minutes in the car, we sat down and ordered. About half an hour after our food had come, Danny asked me,
"Jessie, when will we go public?"
"Oh, I don't know. Some time soon though!" I replied.
"How about we do a live video chat when we get home?" Danny asked. I nod.
"Agreed!"

After our meal, when we get home, Jade is still awake.
"Hey!" Jade says.
"Hi Jade." I say.
"Hi Jade,".Danny says, then he turns to me. "Jessie, I love you, and since we've been together, it's been the best time of my life. I want you to be by my side for the rest of my life. I want you to grow old with me. I love you. And if you agree to this, I promise, I will spend every day making sure you are the happiest woman in the universe. So Jessica Ellen Cornish," He pulls out a box from his pocket and kneels on the floor, "Will you marry me?"
My heart beats quicker. Danny just proposed to me! I love that man!
"Yes!" I whisper. I'm so shocked! "Yes yes yes yes yes!" I scream. Danny stands up and puts the ring on my finger, "I love you!" I say. He leans in and kisses me passionately. After a second, we pull apart and pull Jade in for a hug.
