Chapter 12

Danny's P.O.V

I can't believe it! Jessie said yes! We're engaged! She said yes! I'm so happy! Life is perfect. Jessie and I are about to do a live video chat to say we're together. I wonder how the fans will react!

"Ready babe?" I ask Jessie when I'm done setting up the camera. Jessie nods and sits down next to me. Jade puts her phone on coffee table and goes and sits down at her laptop at the kitchen table. I turn on the camera. Time to go public!

Jessie's P.O.V

I've told my family to tune in to the live video chat because there's something important I need to tell them. Danny presses go, and we're live.
"Hi!" Danny and I say at the same time, and Danny continues, "So you're probably wondering why we're doing this. Well, it's because Jessie and I are together. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me!" Jade coughs on purpose so that only Danny and I can hear her. Danny smiles to her and mouths 'and you'. I hope no one notices! I lean forward and check the comments and questions. There's one that says:

"Oh my God, is that an engagement ring on your finger, Jessie? And who coughed?"

I whisper to Danny to look, and he laughs, gives me a questioning look. I nod.
"Yes, Eleanor 1001, good eyesight and hearing! You're right, we're engaged! And we couldn't be happier. And to the coughing, that was Jade, my..." Danny trailed off.
"Danny's daughter" I say for him, "Jade, why don't you come over here?" She stands up and walks over to sit next to Danny. Questions start appearing on the screen.
"WOW! Okay, we'll try to answer as many questions as possible. First," I scan through some questions.
"I'm fifteen, my mother died so I came to find my Dad, and... I hate you too, Louis." Jade says. I guess she read some questions as well! But... who's Louis?
"Also," Danny looks at me and I whisper in his ear to pretend it's his baby that I'm having. Danny nods, "Jessie is pregnant. She's gonna be a mother, I'm gonna be a father to another child!" Jade smiles. She didn't know before, and now she does!

After the video chat, I ask Jade who Louis is.
"Oh, he's Leigh's Dad." She explains bluntly, and goes to bed.
