Ludwig rubbed his eyes and groggily sat up.

"Vas it all a dream?" He tiredly muttered to himself.

He stretched and looked around the room. His eyes caught a glance of a picture of Feliciano making a peace sign.

Guess it wasn't...

He swung his legs over the bed and turned the lamp on; not that he needed it, for the morning light was already plenty bright enough.

He opened his door and looked around the hallway. It was silent. Quietly, as not to disturb Feliciano's sleeping, he walked past the bathroom, then a door that said 'Lovino's Room. Don't enter, bastard', then finally, at the end of the hallway, he found a door that said 'Feli's Room!'. There were pictures of the small Italian by himself, with random girls, with his brother, and many pictures of pasta. Yup, this was his room.

Ludwig took a deep breath and knocked on the door. He hated waking anyone but his brother up. He heard nothing.

Oh gött...

He knew he was going to have to open the door. With a shaky hand, he twisted the doornob and slid the door open, silently pleading that it didn't creak.

Creeeeaak

Dammit.

He shot his head quickly to the bed in the corner of the room. Feliciano was still silently sleeping. The room was painted white, with red and green polka dots swimming across it. His bed comforter was the Italian flag, and next to the window was a stand with trophies saying 'Pasta Making Contest 1st Place' and medals saying other food related things. There was a desk in the corner of the room that had a small laptop, a home phone, some paperwork and a few pictures. One was of Feliciano, one of Feliciano and his brother, one of a tall man with messy brown hair that looked strikingly similar to both Feliciano and his brother, and one of a young boy and girl.

The boy had messy blond hair with crystal blue eyes. He wore a black old-fashioned black uniform and hat and was looking away from the camera, blushing madly. The girl had short brown hair and was winking, her open honey-colored eye twinkling with playfulness. She sported a smile and green maid dress, along with other maid-like things. One of her arms was thrown around the young boy, which was most-likely the cause of his blushing.

That picture had marks over it, like someone had spilled water on it. It was slightly hidden behind the rest of the pictures, but could still be seen.

Ludwig stopped looking around and focused on the sleeping Italian. He walked over to the bed and shook Feliciano's shoulder slightly.

"Feliciano?" He called.

The Italian rolled over in his sleep but didn't wake up.

"Feliciano?" He called, a bit louder.

"Hm..?" Feliciano sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Guten morgen." Ludwig ran a hand through his hair, slicking it back.

"Non parlo..." he opened his eyes, "oh, buongiorno, Ludwig."

"Ja. Get up." It took a second for the German to realize that he had just demanded somebody that he barely even knew to wake up, but he mentally scolded himself for being so rude to the person who was providing shelter for him.
