Feliciano took a key from under the door mat and unlocked the door. Much to his surprise, his brother wasn't home.

"Fratello?" He called, "I'm-a home! You here?"

There was no response.

He saw that there was a sticky note on the coffee table.

It read:

'Dear Fratello,

I'm at the tomato bastard's house for the weekend. Don't make a mess while I'm gone. Did you read the newspaper? That stupid German cazzo got kicked out of his own castle! The stuck-up German potato bastard. People say he's been seen in Italy with this kid near our home, so if you see a potato bastard, AVOID HIM.

~Love, Lovino'

Feliciano squeaked a bit, thinking about how much trouble he'd be in when Lovino gets back and sees that he was the kid with the "potato bastard".

"Vhat's vrong?" The German asked, still standing in the open doorway.

"O-oh, my fratello is-a out with his um..." Feli didn't know what he and Antonio was, so he just guessed, "boyfriend. He's-a out with his boyfriend."

There's a lot of homosexuals in this world, I guess. Ludwig thought.
Both Gilbert and Lovino were gay, and even Ludwig was questioning his sexuality. The past few times he's "done the do" with a girl, he hasn't felt that... spark.

"Well, you-a can come in and make-a yourself comfortable. Want some coffee or something?"

"O-oh. Nien." The German stepped into the house, and the smell of tomatoes immediately filled his nostrils. He didn't mind. At least it wasn't the wine that Matthew and Gilbert always had.

"Ve~ okay. Well, follow-a me and I'll show you the guest room!"

Feliciano skipped up the stairs, with Ludwig following close behind. Staying in Feli's house was without a doubt very weird for Ludwig, but he felt comfortable there.

Feliciano opened a door to show a room. It had a white bed, red and green curtains, an empty dresser, 2 nightstands, a lamp and a television. There were a few pictures of Feliciano and what appeared to be his brother hung across the room.

"Well, you-a can turn on the TV and I'll bring you a glass of water." Feliciano stated, proud of his great hospitality, and pranced back down the stairs.

Ludwig stood and stared at the television. Sure, his brother watched TV, but Ludwig ran a whole country. He never had time to relax. So yes, he, Ludwig Bielscmidt, had no idea how to operate a television.

"Ho l'aqcua! Did you-a turn on the TV yet?" The Italian set the water on one of the nightstands and looked up to Ludwig.

"Uh..." is all that would come out of the German's mouth.

It took a moment for Feliciano to realize what was going on, but when he realized, he instantly started giggling. "Oh, Ludwig! You-a don't even know how to turn on a TV!"

"N-Nien! I can do zhis just fine!" Ludwig stepped over to the machine and nervously tapped on the screen. He had a look of disappointment on his face when the screen was still didn't show the moving images.

Feliciano burst out laughing, gripping his stomach and gasping for air. "S-Sì! You do... know how to..." He started coughing but he still smiled widely.

Eventually, Feliciano taught Ludwig how the box-shaped machine worked and he let him use some of his grandpa's old clothes.

Feli was downstairs drinking coffee and eating breadsticks while Ludwig was changing.

Ludwig never smiles, He thought, Maybe I can make him smile tomorrow.

He took a long (and adorable) yawn before walking up the stairs and knocking on Ludwig's shut door.

"I'm-a going to bed~ Feel free to get some-a food or something if you need it. Buonanotte."

"Goodnight."

Feliciano walked away, but Ludwig was frozen.

What just happened?

He never ever said 'goodnight' to anyone. Ever.
