Dan's POV
Woo history class I thought to myself. Why do we even need this class they're all dead anyways.
"Class since its the day of the Halloween dance, I'm gonna let you have a free period. So just talk with your table."
Woah that's cool. I never liked this class. The teacher hates me because I don't do anything.
The period was almost over then time to go home. I hate this school. Every month you have a different schedule. I decided to almost be social and listen to the conversation at my table.
I sat with a guy called Jacob a girl called Addi and that girl Emma.
"So Addi. Who are you taking to the dance? I'm taking Gavin." Emma asked.
"Um nobody. I-I'm just going with friends." Addi was shy. It was weird seeing her talk to Emma.
"Well quit being a lesbian and get a date."
The bell rang and Addi walked out crying. I was furious. "Well at least she doesn't have a new boyfriend every two day." I retorted and caught up to Addi.
I knew where all girls went when they were upset. The toilets.
I walked into the girls toilets with no problem. "Addi are you in here."
Some random girl walked out of one and looked at me weird. "Ew gross get out." She said.
"Danny Devito I love your work." I said holding out my arms to her.
Addi walked out and wiped a tear away. "OK Dan one, why are you in the girls room? And two, Mean Girls really?" She said.
"Hey I don't care I like the D and not the V so." I said raising my hands in defence.
"And don't take what ever Emma says to heart. She tried to ask me out one time it was historical. Well it is now but it wasn't then." I said.
"Well the only reason I was upset it that she has that much nerve to call someone that when she doesn't even know that I actually am a lesbian. Or as you said, I like the V and not the D." She laughed.
"Well. I would love to talk to you more, but shouldn't we get out of the girls bathroom. Those tampons are creeping me out."
We walked home and turns out we live in the same building.
I ran into my apartment and saw Phil.
"Do you just come into my house whenever you want?" I asked hugging around he waist.
"Um no I text your mum a lot. She's really cool we should hang out with her more." He said.
"Phiiiiiiil." I whined.
"I'm just kidding. How was school?" He asked kissing me.
"Good. I made a friend." I said proudly.
"Oh that's great. Who?" He asked as we went to my bedroom together.
"Her name is Addi." I said.
"How did you meet her."
"Well." I said taking off my tie and shirt. "We were in last period and Emma and her got in a fight Addi got sad I went in the girls room and found her. We talked and turns out she lives in this building." I said and laid down with him.
"That's amazing." He said hugging me.
"Hey tomorrow is Halloween. Do you wanna go to a haunted house?" I asked.
"Dan I don't know. I get scared really easily.
"Come on I'll protect you from all the scary things." I said hugging him tight.
"Fine. But if I have nightmares I'm blaming you." He said.
"Yay." I said and kissed his forehead.
"Dan do you have homework?" He asked.
"No because the dance is tonight and no one would do it if they did." I said.
"Are you gonna go?" He asked.
"No."
"Why not?" He asked
"Because, I just honestly don't want to. I would rather spend my night without any homework watching movies and doing nothing, than going out and being lonely at a dance." I said.
"Well we can have a movie night how's that sound?" He asked.
"High school musical?"
"Whatever you want sweety." He said with a little laugh.
"Hells to the yeah." I said which made us both laugh.
It was pretty late and we were watching the third high school musical.
I looked at my phone. Wow 11:30. I looked over at Phil and he gave me a warm smile. "You want some pajamas?" I asked.
"Yes please." He said.
"Come on." I said pausing the movie and taking his hand.
Sure enough, Phil went to my drawers and pulled out my sweat pants and galaxy T-shirt. I don't understand why he likes that so much. I pulled out my eclipse shirt and some sweatpants.
I went over and gave Phil a hug. "Baby you're freezing do you want a hoodie?" I asked softly in his ear.
He shook his head yes. I let go and walked to me dresser and pulled out a hoodie. "There you go baby." I said handing it to him.
We walked down stairs and finished the movie and soon we both fell asleep.

Well that was kinda cute. I can't wait to write the next chapter.
