he cries in front of you

Dan and you had been planning to go and see the fault in our stars since the day you both saw the trailer on TV. It was finally that day and you had never been as happy on a date with Dan since now. Not that you were trying to be rude, you were just REALLY excited. "So babe, you ready to go?" You heard him say from across the room. "YESSSS OH MY GOSH IM SO EXCITED!" You ran over and jumped on his back. "I can tell!" Dan laughed as he spun you around. You hopped down but it felt more like climbing down the Eiffel Tower since you were so short compared to him. He pecked your lips and you both headed out the door.

A few moments later~

"One large popcorn and two medium cokes please." said Dan. The cashier handed you both your drinks and popcorn and you made your way to go see the fault in our stars. "I'm so excited! I have been waiting so freakin long for this to come out." you whispered. Dan looked at you sweetly then put his arm around you.

~the sad part~

As you began to tear up a bit, you couldn't help but hear someone crying quite hard near you. You looked over and saw it was Dan. Your heart melted. Being the type not to cry easily at things, you made it through the whole movie only shedding one tear. The lights brightened the entire theater but you saw Dan cover up his face a bit.
"How did you like the movie?" You asked innocently. He looked over and sniffled, "It was great..." Dan laughed. You both started to laugh and wait till it was only you two left. "Don't feel embarrassed for crying babe, it was a sad movie." Dan shifted closer to you and smirked. "I know baby, I am not that embarrassed but I mean I was probably the only guy here crying." "You and me both know that is not true!" You lightly punched his arm and chuckled. "I think it's time to go." Dan replied. You nodded. He leaned in for a kiss but since it had gotten dark he kissed your nose. Dan blushed adorably and so did you. "I love you (Y/N)." You both headed home.

~a few hours later~

"What on earth is that?" You thought to yourself. You heard slight crying coming from the living room. "Dan? Erm. Are you ok in there?" There was no reply. Curious, you walked into the room and saw Dan bawling his eyes out. "Dan! What the heck is wrong?" You rushed over. "Augustus! Why?" Dan yelped. You grabbed him into a hug. You felt so sad at the sight of him like this. He cuddled you closer. "I hope nothing like that movie ever happens to any of us." Dan mumbled into your cheek. He kissed your cheek for about 5 seconds and you both feel asleep on the couch together.
