"BUT WHYYY?" You squealed. "Because! You beat me in Mario Kart and now it's my turn to beat you." Dan said giggling evilly. Dan had been your crush for as long as you could remember but you did not know for sure if he liked you back. You and Dan had been best friends since Primary School but you has just recently developed feelings for him. Your thoughts were interrupted by a pillow being smashed against your head harshly. "ATTACK! (Y/N) SHALL BE DEFEATED!" screamed Dan. You fell off of your bed that you and Dan had been on while listening to the major laugh attack going on in the background. "Are y-you okay-y-y?" Dan managed to sputter out struggling to keep a straight face. You looked at him trying to look mad but failed which resulted in ultimate laughter from the both of you. Dan took your hand which made you twitch for a split second and pulled you back into the bed. "You're adorable." Dan said his eyes twinkling. You blushed and gave him a cheesy smile. Dan chuckled but looked you right in the eyes. You stopped and returned his eye contact. He opened his mouth as if he was about to say something but stopped. "What?" You asked. Dan bit his lip still not breaking eye contact. "C-Can I kiss you?" you were shocked but yet again the butterflies in your stomach felt like they were going to rip you in half. He brought his face closer to yours but stopped about one and a half inches away from you. He stared hard into your deep (Y/E/C) eyes. You stared deeply into his dark brown eyes but your thoughts were interrupted by Dan grabbing your cheek and breaking the wait. He kissed you so gently as if he would break all of the bones in your body. You kissed back and felt him smile a bit. Dan's grip tightened on your cheek as he slid his hand onto your waist. You put your arms around his neck. He pulled away but looked slightly worried like he thought he had hurt you. "S-sorry about that... I just couldn't help myself." Dan blushed. You laughed and shook your head. "No, don't be sorry... truth is I really like you." He looked surprised. "I like you too. But not enough to let you win at Mario Kart..." You have him a death grin and shouted, "YOUR ON!" You both raced to get the controllers. Being the clumsy person you are, you tripped... again. Once again Dan helped you up but took your controller out of your hands. "HAHAHA!" Dan screamed. You laughed and for the rest of the day you played Mario Kart and sat in his lap while he played with your hair.
