I was sat on my bed on my laptop checking twitter when my little sister, Riven, came into my room.

"Lucy, mummy wants you!"

"Okay, ill be there in a minute."

"She said now!"

"Fine"

I stropped down stairs to the kitchen where I saw my mum sitting at the dining room table on her laptop.

"What's up?"

"Sit down, i've got some big news for you!"

"Ok..."

"I'm seated, now what's going on?"

"Now i know it might be a bit of a shock to you but..."

"Yes?"

"You're moving to Australia!"

Wait, what? Did i just hear her right? Oh my god, i can't leave New York!

"Well?"

"Well... I'm shocked."

"But you're happy right?"

"Erm, it's abit sudden, why?"

"Well, me and your dad have been talking..."

Dad? I knew it! How could she think i could move back with my dad after everything he has done! When i was little, My dad left me and my mum because he got into drugs but apparently about a year after he had left he stopped and got a job and is now a wealthy man in Australia. 

"What makes you think i'll want to move back with dad?!"

"Lucy, listen to me, he isn't like that anymore!"

"Oh so you're just going to believe him? Over me? Thanks" 

I stormed up the stairs into my room, locking the door behind me. Throwing myself onto my bed crying into my pillow.
