Date?

When we finally arrived I was shocked to see that we were going to Nandos I mean I knew Australia would have popular restaurants but not Nandos. Jai came round to open my door, having one arm behind his back and bowing as i got out, i laughed.

"I didn't think they would have Nandos here!"

"Oh, you'll be surprised at what we do have, it's not a different universe you know!"

We both laughed walking into the venue. He showed the women behind the desk some kind of card, i'm guessing he already booked it, i actually found that really cute, knowing he could organise an event like this on his own. A waiter showed us to a table, sort of in a quiet, cosy corner, the table had a rose and candle placed in the middle and two menus in front of each seat. Jai pulled out my chair gesturing me to sit down.

"This is amazing, i wish i wore something abit more dressy though."

"Just like you, you look beautiful just the way you are."

I could feel my cheeks burn and i looked down at the menu. I looked back up to see Jai staring at me with a cute smile on his face. 

"What?"

"Oh nothing, what do you want?"

I looked at him curiously. We both ordered and when the food arrived we started to eat. We were both ready to leave, I stood up. 

"Wait!"

"Sorry?" I sat back down. 

"I've got something for you. I know it's our first date but i wanted to make it special." Date? 

"Date?" 

"Well, yeah, i mean if you don..." I cut him off. 

"No, a date" I smiled and he looked up with a big grin on his face handing me a square, light blue Tiffany&Co. box. 

"Here" 

I slowly took the lid off revealing the most beautiful thing ever. I immediately stood up and ran round to him hugging him tightly. 

"Thank you so much, i love it!" I whispered in his ear. 

It was a small but beautiful silver necklace with the infinity symbol hanging off of it. 

"Here, let me put it on" He turned me around and moved my hair over my shoulder, i lifted my hair as he brought the necklace over my head placing it on my bare chest. The cold silver made me shiver slightly. 

"Done" I turned back around and kissed him on the cheek. I saw him blush and i grabbed my jacket. 

"Come on" He winked. 

The drive back was nothing like on the way there, we spoke about nearly everything, our past, what we want in life, all sorts of crap. I kind of didn't want this night to end to say i didn't even want to start earlier. The car stopped and i realised we were back at my house. I frowned at the thought of leaving Jai.

"Thank you so much like really, this is one of the best days i've had in a while, this necklace is beautiful!" 

"Don't worry about it, anything for you." 

We stared at each other, gazing in and out of each others eyes. 

"Your eyes are beautiful" 

"Thank you." 

I gazed into his big brown eyes, butterflies struck my belly.
