A new start

The flight seemed like it took forever, even though it wasnt too bad to say it was my first time. 

I got off the plane and picked up my luggage, once i got into the entrance of the airport i saw a large sign with my name on it and a man standing behind it... Dad.

"Lucia!" 

He ran up to me bringing me into a big hug, it brang back all the memories. Some bad, some good. I looked up at him smiling.

"Dad!" 

My mum was right he did look like a new man, he still had the same facial shape and eyes though, he was wearing a plain black suit. He looked very... Rich. As we were driving through Australia i saw loads of places i could go to shop, eat, watch, even beaches. I started to get really happy. 

"You're going to love it here!"

"I already do"

"How have you been?"

"Same old, same old, you?"

"Just the usual, work!"

"Where exactly do you... We live?"

"A smallish town called Melbourne."

"Oh, has it got a beach?"

"Erm yes nearish."

"Good!"

I said smiling. We pulled up to a house, it didnt look to big but just a normal house. 

"Is this it? Not to sound rude."

"Oh no, its there"

He pointed accross the street. Oh my god, its the most beautiful thing ive ever seen, a big white house with big glass windows, a garage, big double doors, atleast 3 floors, nice front garden. 

"You are j-joking right?"

"Nope. Lucy, welcome to your new home." 

I was speechless, i ran up to the double doors swinging the door open leading to a giant hall with wide stairs leading to another massive open hall. I looked either side of me seeing a big dining room with a table that could sit atleast 12 and on the other side a big lounge with a 50" flat screen tv. This was the place for me.

"Go pick a room, i'll get the rest of your stuff!"

"Okay!"
