Knocks worked at my door as i heard my mum, shouting my name.

"Lucia! I'm sorry, i didnt think you would take it this way, i thought you would be happy!"

"I'll leave you to it, sorry."

I heard my mum walk away from the door, i sat up on my bed staring at the picture of me, my mum, Riven and my dad, we were such a happy family. I didnt want to leave everything i had in New York, i loved it here.

*2 hours later*

I started to get hungry, i smelt cooked bacon coming from the kitchen. I walked over to my door slowly unlocking the door as i turned the knob, i waited for a second. I slowly made my way downstairs taking small steps. My mum and sister must have gone out because there was noone to be seen. Placed on the kitchen counter was a plate with a bacon cob on and a small note reading:

Lucy, i'm sorry i braught it up at the wrong time, i should have waited until i thought you was ready. Me and your sister have gone to Grans, please eat. I love you xxx

I ripped the note up and put it in the bin, i was still mad at my mum for making me live with the man that gave me depression for a whole year. I slumped into the dining room chair, looking at the cob with hungry eyes. I ate it.

I was up in my room for the rest of the day just thinking about what might happen, what good might come to it, if it was a bad idea. For some reason i got more excited everytime i thought about moving to Australia, it's always been a place i've wanted to go... Maybe he has changed?

*Knock, Knock*

My heart dropped.

(Mum=Bold) (Lucia=Italic)

"Come in."

"Hi love, are you okay?"

"I've been thinking and i'm... sorry, i shouldnt have gotten mad it just shocked me."

"Oh dont be silly, i should have left it abit longer. I dont want to force you in to anything."

"Mum, whats the reason for it?"

"I'll tell you later, what are you thinking?"

"I think i want to go"

"Are you sure? Dont just say that because of me"

"No, i'm sure, it'll do me good."
