Forgive And Forget

-the next day-

'Naruto POV'
       "-and the last pair is Uzumaki and Haruno." I looked at Kurenai-sensei wide eyed. For our History class we got assigned a partner as a study buddy for our History exam. "A-ahaha. It's okay Kurenai-sensei, I-I don't need a study buddy..." Sensei glares my way. "EVERYONE is required to have a study partner. No further debate." Sheesh. So scary. I look over to Sakura and she turns and glares at me. "What do you want." I quickly turn my head, almost cracking my neck. Ever since yesterday Sakura treats my like her top Enemy. She also acts this way towards Sasuke, but it's not like they ever talked anyway.

*bell rings*

Sakura was about to get up but I pulled her hand causing her to sit down again. "What are you doing? Let go." "NO WE NEED TO TALK." "I said Let Go." "NOPE" I get up and pull her hand to exit towards outside. In the hallway she kept struggling. "Naruto Let go!!!!" Everyone is staring at us confused. And some people are whispering. I pull Sakura and hide her in face against my chest. "Nothing to see here folks!!!!" I take her towards the roof.

When we get there she pushes me away. "What is your problem!" "We really need to talk." "Okay. Im listening."  "then look at me." "*sigh* fine. What is it." "Sakura please. Forgive me about that bet. I should have never done it. At the party Sasuke got on my nerves and I agreed to it without thinking. I'm very sorry for hurting your feelings. No girl should ever have to feel like she is only an object. Please forgive me."

'Sakura POV'
I look at Naruto with teared eyes. Then I smack him in the head. "OW" "you baka...of course I forgive you." "R-really! Thank you Sakura-chan!" He hugs me tight. I hug him back. Then he lets go. "Sakura, I know this is kinda a reunion thing but...you never answered my confession. I know I did that whole thing but, I wasn't lying about loving you." I blush at Naruto. Then I look down. "Sorry Naruto but, I don't have feelings for you in that way...I see you more as a bestfriend...I'm sorry." I bow to him. He pats my head and smiles gently but I can see the pain in his eyes. "It's alright Sakura-chan hehe, let's go eat lunch!" "Yeah"

Me and Naruto are walking to our hangout spot when I see Itachi. He smiles and waves, I do the same with a faint blush. He motions for me to come over. "Naruto, I'll meet you at the place, I'm gonna go talk with someone."

'Naruto POV'
As Sakura turns to walk away, I feel as if my heart went with her. It's when I realize that I have had my first heartbreak. It hurts a lot. I smile gently at her back, holding back tears. I then look at her face. Her face. The way she looks at Itachi, it's a facial expression only Itachi can cause. I glare at Itachi and walk away sadly.

'Itachi POV'
As Sakura walks over I see Naruto staring lovingly at her. He also seems heartbroken. Then he glares at me and walks away. I glare back. But smile as Sakura reaches me. "Hey Sakura, how are you?" "Ehe, well I'm better than yesterday." "What happened yesterday?" We walk and sit outside somewhere. "Well um I got a confession from Naruto and well after that it just turned into something bad." Thinking about Naruto confessing to Sakura made me furious. He doesn't deserve her, she needs someone special, someone who can protect her...not hurt her. "Did you accept?" "Eeehhhhhhh n-no way! I mean he's like my bestfriend ya'know?" "I see, so what happened afterwards?" "Well..." She explained everything. "I do apologize for my brothers behavior. And nice punch." I chuckle and she blushes. "I-I didn't mean too." "It's fine, he deserved it, someone had to do it at some point right?" "Ahaha true, but maybe he just needs someone to love him." "But he really hates his fangirls" "no no no, I meant like someone who sees him for his real self." "Someone...like you?" "Eeeeehhh no way. Ahaha I would never go out with Sasuke." "Why not?" She blushes "because I don't love him, or like him in that way." A huge weight is lifted of of me as she tells me this. I guess I really do like Sakura. "I see, so do you want to spend lunch together?" "Haha why not, we're already here together ^-^" such a cute face. We both smile and continue talking the whole lunch.

'Sasuke POV'
"Because I don't love him or like him in that way..." I came to look for Itachi but ended up eavesdropping in the end. When Sakura said those words I got so pissed off. She's so stupid, first she goes around telling people she likes me and then she says she doesn't. It's not like I give a fuck if she does or doesn't. I walk away. Obito comes up to me and pats me in the back. What the hell is he so damn happy about? "HEY SASGAAAAY WHATS UP!" "Can you shut up and leave me alone." "Woah woah, what happened Cuz?" "Nothing just leave me the fuck alone." "Hmm whatever you say Debby Downer." He walks away. I walk to class and put my head down to sleep.......Stupid Sakura.
