Part 4

Sam's POV
I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes. It was first day here in New York and when I landed, I went to starbucks. I walked down the stairs to see a frustrated looking mom.

"Uh.. Hey mom.." I said looking away. "YOU LOST YOUR GRANDFATHER AT STARBUCKS YESTERDAY AND THAT'S ALL U SAY?" She says almost wanting to pull her hair off. "Its fine now.. I found him in the corner with a cup of coffee." My voice softened.

My grandfather came in, gave me a kiss on the cheek and whispered something to my mother. My mother smirked and sighed.

"Fine.fine. Its okay. Your grandad said he wasn't hurt but because of that.. You need to come with us to our reunion." My mother smirked. "WHAT?!?" Yeah. I was always the lazy type of person. I always wanted to just lay in bed and not move much. I'm pretty lazy and it doesn't bother me.

I sighed and headed to my room. I opened my bedroom door and saw two gifts on my bed. It was from Cindy and May! I immediately opened one gift and saw it was a gray sweater, gray beanie, black leggings and white sneakers. And there was a small box which had a necklace in it. It was a moon necklace.. I smiled and remembered the time when I asked them to buy it for me but they just laughed. It had a letter attached to it so I decided to read it.

Bea,
Hey girl! How's america? I miss you so much and btw! We did buy you those before we found out you were leaving. We decided to give it to you once u have arrived there so that you can have something to wear on your reunion! Btw! I placed a bit of Matt's perfume in case you miss him. My perfume is on the beanie and hope you enjoy the gift!

I opened the second gift and there was cute floral dress and two pairs of doll- shoes and again there was a box. Inside the box was a polaroid camera. I jumped excitedly and immediately read the letter that was attached to the gifts.

Babes! Here is a beautiful floral dress. I saw it and immediately knew it was perfect for u! I smiled and bought it. You lucky bitch! You're so lucky we love you :P enjoy the doll-shoes I know they fit you :P

I noticed there was another letter. I opened it and saw pictures of the day he asked me out and sang to me. A tear slid down my face and smiled.

Hey sam,
I know how much you love to capture every moment in your life so I bought you this polaroid camera. Don't worry about how much I paid. It doesn't mean as much as you do. Stay safe there in America and I will be here waiting for you. I promise :)

I smiled and decided to wear Cindy's gift for me. I went to the bathroom and was amazed by it. I wasn't used to these type of nice bathrooms since we weren't that wealthy. I got inside and took my clothes off. I stared at my reflection in the mirror and sighed..

"Every girl is beautiful. No matter the curves" I said to myself before getting in the shower.

I got in and let the water rush through my body. I used some conditioner and started washing my body. The water felt so good on my skin. I felt so free and so happy. I showered again and dried myself off.

I wrapped a towel around my body and head to my room. I closed the door and got into my clothes. The sweater fit perfectly on me and so did the leggings. I placed on some foot socks and wore my white sneakers. I looked at the mirror and dried my hair. Since my hair was curly I decided to let it bounce on my shoulder. I got Cindy's necklace and touched the crescent moon amulet.

I went to my bed and took off the plug for my charger. "Yes! Its full!" I said happily. I wasn't honestly that lazy to go now. I wanted to see my family here. They will be the only ones I know. I got my gray bag and placed my phone, charger, my wallet and my brush inside. I got my beanie and walked out the door.
