Part 5

Today wasn't as different as the rest. Classes haven't started and I spent 6 months of vacation cause of that so yipieee!

I looked out the window and averted my eyes as the ray of the sun came into my room. "Argh!" I screamed.

My mother came running into my room looking like she's panicking. "Bea Bea! Whats wrong?" She said almost out of breath.

A laugh escaped my lips and I said,"Nothing, mom. Just don't like the sun. That's it." My mom rolled her eyes. "You know? Sometimes I wonder if you are a human or are you a vampire" my mom said in a jokingly manner.

"Oh by the way, get dressed we're going to the dentist to have your braces checked." My mom said before leaving my room. I nodded and went to my closet.

I got out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body. I was stopped in my tracks when I saw Drew in the living room. I ran to my room and locked the door.

"So what did you think when you saw her again?" I heard my grandfather ask Drew. "Well.. " I smiled because I can imagine him scratching the back of his neck." She's very beautiful as always, her hair is now curlier, she is so so.. Amazing.. And she is still the girl I dream about.." He continued.

I got dressed into my maroon skater skirt, my white long sleeve blouse and my maroon heels. My heels wasn't that high so I can still feel comfortable. I curled my hair and let it fall on my shoulders. I got the necklace that Cindy gave and placed it around my neck. I touched it and went downstairs.

"Oh there she is. My beautiful granddaughter!" My grandfather held my hand as I went down and I smiled. "Hello grandfather!" I replied. "Hey B.. You look beautiful.." He said and went in to kiss my cheek. I smiled and nodded my head.

"So where are we going?" I asked. "We. Are going to the dentist" my mom came into the room and kisses my grandad's cheek. "Oh okay.." I ran to my room got my maroon purse and placed my iphone, a comb, a small perfume, my wallet and my powerbank with cord and went downstairs. "Okay I'm ready..." I said. "And Bea! I have a surprise for you later on today." My mom said walking to the car parked outside our house. I nodded and held my grandfather's hand as we went out together. Drew then started to follow close behind.

"Is he coming?" I whispered to my grandfather. He smiled at me and nodded. Good God. I rolled my eyes and in the corner of my eyes, i saw Drew's face drop.

I told my grandfather to go ahead and I stayed beside Drew. "So.. Any idea what the surprise may be?" I asked knowing Im going to get an answer. He smirked and shook his head. "You aren't going to get any answer from me,kiddo." I pouted but he still didn't tell me.

We arrived at the dentist and my grandfather and mum left me with Drew as my "protector". I don't get why I don't feel weird around him. I guess because Ive him for so long that I know what he's like and I know he will protect all girls.

We walked in and I got my braces adjusted. I paid the dentist and it was now Drew's turn. He was finished and paid for his adjustment.

We decided to go to a burger place down the block. We walked silently. "So.. Do u have a boyfriend now?" He asked all of the sudden. I shook my head. "What about you?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head. An "o" formed from my mouth and a smile crept on my face. He smiled and I blushed like a tomato.

We spent 2 hours walking around and my mum finally came. She apologized and we said it was okay. We both sat in the back and he started to tickle me. I laughed and he fell on me. "Ehem but you two are really a cute couple,honey." My mom commented. Drew and I laughed even louder and shook our heads and honestly. I still loved him.
