"You really like Coco, don't you?" I asked. She nodded, watching as Youngjae played with his puppy.
"She's adorable,"
"Fluffy, isn't she?"It was obvious how much she liked Coco. She couldn't stop smiling the whole time she was playing with her. It made me smile to watch her.
"Coco-yah, come to Oppa!" I called her.
She came running to me within two seconds. She was like a little fur ball rolling across the floor. It was adorable. I picked her up. Coco was tiny, that it really felt like holding her made me feel like a three year old holding a stuffed bear or something.
"I think you love Youngjae's puppy more than he does," she told me.
"Impossible," I shook my head. "Youngjae loves Coco more than anything. She's his little princess,"
"And yours?"
"No, because you're my princess,"Yerin rolled her eyes at my reply to her. I laughed and flashed her an innocent smile. At that same time, Youngjae suddenly sat behind the both of us. I didn't see him. I just noticed it because he surprised us.
"Stop flirting, Yugyeom. You, too, Yerin,"
Curse him.
"We're not flirting," Yerin told him.
"Oh really?"I swear to God if I wasn't holding Coco, I would hit him already.
"We're not," I insisted.
"I don't believe you,"I put the puppy down and punched his arm. I made sure it hurt, just not enough that he would get annoyed with me. Youngjae never gets mad, so it's obvious that his anger would be horrible.
"We're not flirting, Youngjae. Just believe it already,"
"But you do know that Gyeom likes you, right?"
"Yeah, I know that," she nodded. "So what?"So what?
Why does that hurt me? It's like she doesn't even care that I like her.
But then again, it would probably make the both of us awkward if she actually thinks a lot about me liking her and I'd hate for our friendship to become awkward.
"So do you like him, too?" Youngjae asked.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't,"Yeah, I shouldn't get my hopes up. It'll only hurt me anyway.
~*~
"BamBam!" I shouted, getting his attention back on me.
"What, Gyeom?"
"You weren't listening to me!"He shrugged, which made me positive that he wasn't at all listening to a word I was saying.
"So what were you saying?"
And now he asks? Unbelievable.
"Youngjae asked Yerin if she likes me-"
"Of course she does! Isn't it obvious?"
"No."I swear, it's really not obvious. Yerin's different from other girls that way. She's not the type of girl who lets her feelings show very much.
"Well, for your information, she likes you,"
"I don't think she does though,"
"She does. Me and Jimin know at least that much. It's not obvious, but it's there,"I shook my head. I highly doubted she liked me. We've been friends for a long time and I haven't noticed anything about her feelings changing towards me. If she liked me, I would have at least noticed it.
"Believe what you want. I'm not believing anything you're telling me about Yerin liking me,"
"Fine." he shrugged again. "Your loss,"I swear the pair of them are out of their minds, Jimin and BamBam...
He pulled out his earphones from the front pocket of his backpack and plugged it into his phone. He offered one to me and I took it, placing it in my ear.
Music started to play. Slow, English music. I couldn't understand much, but listening to it, I could tell it was sad. BamBam, on the other hand, looked serious while listening. He's always like this. Whenever he listens to music, he really tries to understand the meaning of the song, and he becomes emotional and all that. I find it weird.
"What does the song mean, Bam?" I asked, when the song changed to a more upbeat one.
Then he started telling me all about the song, the lyrics, the meaning, basically everything. He told me that the song was titled 'See You Again' and it was a good song. I liked it.
"Do you like it?"
"It's nice," I nodded.
"What does it make you feel?"I stared at him, letting his question sink in. What does the song make me feel? I was already starting to have some thoughts about it when I just decided to shake them off. I just decided to comment on his way of listening to music.
"Why are you so emotional, BamBam? What do you think of when you listen to slow music?"
"A lot," he admitted, "But don't change the subject! Answer my question!"
"It makes me think of Baek Yerin,"
"And why does it make you think of her?"I rolled my eyes and ignored him, instead, just enjoying the music that was playing.
