Mackenzies POV
I could hear people crying but I couldn't see them I tried opening my eyes but they wouldn't I tried moving my arms or legs but I couldn't I tried to talk but nothing came out I just kept listening to these too people crying I had no clue where I was or what happened the last thing I remember is being in the corner having a panic attack suddenly I could feel my self fading away and soon I could hear or think at all.
Sams POV
We were lying on the floor crying when suddenly the heart monitor started racing we stood up but kept getting pushed towards the door by doctors rushing around the last thing I saw was the heart monitor go into a flat line. I started trying to run back in but was being held back by Mackenzie's dad i saw Nash trying to get in but was being heLe back by his dad I started screaming
" NO LET ME GO IN THERE PLEASE SHES MY BEST FRIEND I NEED TO BE THERE WITH HER NOOOOO!!!!" I screamed trying to break free I started screaming and crying people where looking at me with sorrow in their eyes
" MACKENZIE I NEED YOU DONT DIE I NEED YOU!!" I screamed bawling my eyes out I let go and started running down the hall just running away pushing past people I ended up at the bathroom and I looked in the mirror I wiped tears from my eyes ( Picture ) but they just kept coming I sat down with my back on the wall I'm so glad no one came in or else it would be super awkward I got up tears still streaming down my face and walked out of the bathroom I started walking until I bumped into someone
" I'm so sorry," someone said
" it's fine," I mumbled I looked up and saw it was the guy at the cafe
" oh your that girl at the cafe," he said
" yeah I'm Samantha or Sam," I said
" I'm James," he said " what's wrong your crying?" He asked
" I think my best friend just died," I said and I burst out into tears again
" oh my god I'm so sorry," he said he pulled me into a hug and I cried into his shoulder he rubbed my back and we just sat in the middle of the hall crying.
Nash's POV
I was hugging Sam in Mackenzie's room when the heart monitor started beeping like crazy I looked up and saw it go into a flat line doctors where flooding into the room and the more doctors the more we got pushed out I started crying trying to get back in the room with her but I was being held back by my dad
" LET ME GO DAD I NEED TO GET TO HER!!" I screamed
" I NEED THAT GIRL I LOVE HER!!!!"
" MACKENZIE DONT DIE I NNED YOU IN MY LIFE!!!" I screamed before collapsing to the floor tears streaming down my face my dad tried to comfort me but it was no use my life was over the only person I have every loved is dead I got up and wiped my tears I sat down in the chair and shut everything out I honestly didn't care anymore I'm done.
Sam's POV
I was sitting in the waiting room with James after I stooped crying we went for a walk and We learnt slot about each other and surprisingly we have a lot in common.
" Sam honestly I think she might of made it from what you told me she seems like a fighter," James said
" thanks," I said I got out my phone and saw I had 10 missed calls from my mom and 12 unread texts from my mom unread 1 unread text from Jack ( Gilinsky ) and 2 unread texts from Cameron I decided to call my mom
" oh gosh honey where are you?!?!" She asked
" mom I'm fine Mackenzie was found and she was at the hospital from having a panic attack and the heart monitor stopped," I said trying not to cry
" oh honey I'm so sorry," she said
" it's fine mom," I said
" okay I gotta go so bye," she said
"Bye mom," I said hanging up I decided to text Jack

He didn't reply so i decided to text Cameron

I put my phone away and leaned my head on James shoulder I was falling asleep when a doctor burst out of Mackenzie's room and he looked happy
Who the fuck would be happy about someone dying??
" SHE MADE IT!!" He shouted I shot up and tears of joy started running down my face I got up and started shaking Nash.
Nash's POV
I got woken up by someone shaking me I opened my eyes and saw a very happy Sam who would be so happy if there best friend died??
" what?" I asked annoyed that she woke me up
" MACKENZIE'S ALIVE!!!" She screamed
" WHAT??" I shouted
" the doctor just came out and said she made it," she said smiling I could feel tears of happiness run down my face I shot up and ran to her room I burst in and saw a very pale Mackenzie sitting up in her hospital bed I ran over and pulled her into a bone crushing hug I let go and smashed my lips onto her she kissed back and i pulled away after 5 minutes of making out
" oh fuck babe I was so worried," I said
" you look like shit," she said giggling
" yeah," I said I looked at the doctor
" does she know?" I asked he shook his head
" what?" She asked I looked at the doctor and he nodded
" Mackenzie you died,"
