I parked my car in an alley, for there was nowhere to park anywhere else. I got my small bag and jumped out of my car, the bitter cold wind biting my cheeks. I wrapped my arms around myself to try to generate some heat. I walked along the boulevard, littered with cigarettes and tiny liquor bottles. I finally found a place to eat. I walked in and realized it was more like a club than a restaurant. I went up to the bar and ordered a beer and some cheese and crackers. I ate my food quietly and minded my own business as loud music blared through speakers, until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw a very petite girl, one side of her hair black, one side blonde.
"He's totally checking you out" The girl said, pointing to a boy across the room. I looked across the room and saw a boy looking directly at me. He had honey blonde hair gelled into a quiff, piercing baby blue eyes, a black lip ring, and he was also abnormaly tall. He was breathtaking. Why would he be looking at me? I'm so out of his league. "Ooh, he's coming over! I gotta go, but I'm Melanie by the way!" She smiled, scurrying off. He walked over to me, a joint in his hand. He looked at me with bloodshot eyes.
"Hi baby girl. I'm Luke" He smirked, taking in a breath of smoke.
