Chapter 3

Naruto's POV (Naroo)

Naroo purred in pleasure as he cuddled up with the big warmth surrounding him. So comfortable and soft. He nuzzled his cheek against the warmth. Juugo giggled as Naroo's fur tickled his nipples. "Naroo hah, stop." Juugo giggled in his sleep.

Naroo opened his eyes as he looked up at Juugo and blushed. He had been cuddling Juugo subconsciously without knowing. He wiggled his body to shake the sleep off and hopped off of Juugo's chest. He only managed to get a few steps back until his sprained paws began to ache and he gave up and laid on his belly, watching Juugo watch him.

Juugo sat up and picked Naroo up to his chest and petted him. Naroo relaxed and realized that he was with Juugo and he got turned into a fox. It was still a lot to process in a short amount of time. The fact that Juugo could talk to animals was still surprising too. It was a cool talent, though.

Juugo carried Naroo to the kitchen where Suigetsu and Karin were almost finished cooking, but were still fighting about petty things. Naroo watched as they cut up the noodles at let it sit in the pot. They were making some kind of noodles, which smelled absolutely delicious. As the meals were nearing completion Juugo placed Naroo on the table made of stone.

"Here you go cutie." Karin said, placing a bowl of noodles in front of Naroo. Naroo looked at the delicious noodles. The warm scent with spices wafting in the a air. Naroo hummed as he lifted his nose to smell the spices better.

There was squid, imitation crab, beef, shrimp, green onions, soy sauce, lime, cilantro, small slices of pork, two halves of a boiled egg, narutomaki with the beautiful pink swirl, black pepper, hoisin sauce, mushrooms, quail eggs, and some veggies. It looked and smelled absolutely delightful. Naroo purred a moan as he lowered his head near the bowl and took a small lap.

The flavors exploded in his mouth as he fell back in surprised and began yipping happily. Juugo watched with a red tinge to his cheeks at the fox moaning about how good the flavors were. Karin seemed appeased. "He likes my cooking! And he has heightened senses." Karin said happily while tilting her glasses smugly.

"At least somebody appreciates my cooking." She said matter of factly.

"I helped cook too you fool." Suigetsu butted in.

"All you did was chop with your damn knives. I made it work."

"That's still helping!"

Juugo shook his head as he prepared a bowl for himself too. After he finished doing that, he sat next to Naroo, who was waiting for his soup to cool down a bit more. "Here." Juugo said, giving Naroo some of his noodles from his spoof that he blew on to cool down. Naroo looked up happily and lapped at the spoon until the soup and noodles were gone.

"Mmm, thanks Juugo!" Naroo said happily while Juugo blushed at the lapping spoon action.

"Do foxes even eat noodles?" Sasuke said as he walked in watching the fox.

"This one seems to like it." Suigetsu said. "Plus isn't he a demon fox or something?"

"Yes, and of course he eats noodle Sasuke-Kun. It's my cooking, of course. He will eat everything I make." Karin said knowingly with her fist clenched in front of her, fireworks appearing to shoot out from behind her.

"Here you go Sasuke." Karin said, giving Sasuke his noodles while Suigetsu left to go somewhere.

Naroo began lapping at his noodles, some more for about ten minutes until all the soup was gone. Then he proceeded to munch on the noodles followed by its condiments. In around twenty five minutes Naroo laid back on his back as he patted his fox belly. That was probably the one of the best noodles he has ever eaten in his life.

Maybe it was because of his heightened senses that made it taste all the better. He was openly purring now as Juugo rubbed his belly. Karin watched in awe. "He's so adorable!" Karin fangirled as she watched the cute fox purr in happiness. The red fox with white tips was just too adorable that Sasuke himself smiled softly. His hard exterior cracking for a second until he began eating his noodles also.

"He says thanks." Juugo said, translating for Naroo as Karin was about to leave.

"Aww, that's so sweet Naroo. If you need anything else I'm happy to assist you. Also, you're going to help me test my food since the fox senses are better than humans." She said evilly, thinking about how many recipes she could perfect with Naroo's senses.

Juugo stopped petting Naroo as Sasuke finished his noodles and got up, put the dishes in the sink and left. Seriously, how the heck did they get all this stuff inside of a rock house or whatever the heck this was. Naroo thought.

"Want to come and watch us train? Sasuke is preparing himself to kill his brother. Some bad blood or something." Juugo said, picking Naroo up into his arms and chest. Juugo carried Naroo to the other side of the giant boulder in the mountain away from the forest. It was a small clearing that had trees growing inside of it. At the top of the boulder was a giant crack, letting sunlight leak through and allowing the trees and plants to perform photosynthesis. It was a beautiful place. It made Naroo question about how well he knew his area outside the village.

When they arrived they caught sight of Suigetsu and Karin training. Naroo watched as Karin approached Suigetsu in a quick pace with her hand aiming for his face.

"High palm, smack blaster!" She yelled as she attached a paper bomb to her palm and smacked Suigetsu with her full power. He flew back a few yards standing in the air when the paper bomb exploded and sent him flying farther.

"Take that loser!" She screamed happily before the Suigestsu she slapped turned out to be a water clone and Suigetsu's blade appeared on her neck. Touching the front of her throat.

"No fair, that's cheating!" She huffed angrily as Suigetsu won the fight.

"It's not cheating when you are the easiest opponent ever. I would have more trouble fighting an ant. At least an ant could dodge my attacks." Suigestsu laughed.

"All right, its time Juugo." Sasuke said, pulling bandages around his fist and legs as he prepared to train with Juugo.

"Karin watch Naroo." Juugo said as he handed Naroo to Karin and stood facing Sasuke.

"Ready when you are." Sasuke said.

"Fine, let's rumble." Juugo said as he punched his fist and his elbow's became turbo boosters.
