Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Juugo

Naruto's POV

The birds chirped happily singing their songs in the early dawn sunrise. They chirped into the morning. They chirped all day. They chirped whenever they felt like it. They just loved chirping.

Naruto grumped as he tried to cover his oversensitive fox ears with his fuzzy reddish orange paws. It didn't work, they all began to sing together loudly. They just kept joining in. More birds from different trees began to fly to his and chirped together loudly. 

"Shut up!" Naruto growled as he jumped out from the burrow under the tree and began to angrily pounce up the tree, his claws digging in the bark. Naruto would eat one if he had to. As he reached the top he quickly ran to the other side of the branch where all the birds were chirping in harmony. 

They quickly noticed and began to flock away together right as Naruto pounced on the branch, his claws digging into it. 

SNAP!

"Oh man!" Naruto yelped as the branch broke and he fell down. 

Naruto prayed for his life as he hell down from the high branch, hoping for minimal broken bone damage while closing his eyes waiting for the impact of the hard dry dirt. It never came. He landed into something hard yet soft, kind of warm too.

Naruto slowly opened his eyes and saw orange hair. The sun had been blocking the person's face, but he was able to see the two birds on either sides of his shoulders. He had orange hair and broad shoulders.

"Oh, such a cute fox! Random that you fell from the sky." The orange hair dude laughed.

Naruto growled as he attempted to get on all fours and eat the birds, but trembled on his fox legs and fell back onto the dude's lap.

"Woah, be careful there cutie. You look injured." The dude said as he looked at Naruto's paws. "Yup, you must have sprained them from the fall." The dude said, rubbing Naruto's paws and setting him on his lap.

"My name is Juugo by the way." The orange head said petting Naruto's head.

"Ouch, that tree branch really hurt." Naruto yipped as he licked his front paws.

"Did the tree give you a splinter or something?" Juugo said, flipping Naruto on his back and examining his paw.

"You can understand me?!" Naruto barked in surprise.

"Yeah, I can speak with animals. I love nature!" Juugo said excited.

"Woah, thats coo-Ouch!" Naruto whimpered as Juugo pulled the splinters out of his paws.

Naruto whimpered as his paws began to bleed slowly but didn't stop. The splinters must have been deeper than he thought. He shouldn't of had put so much power into that pounce. 

"Here, lemme take you to my hideout so we can get that bandaged." Juugo said using his ninja speed to get there in fifteen minutes. 

The hideout was behind many thick trees with just as thick leaves and vines surrounding the stumps. It looks like a thick grove surrounding a huge boulder which had a small cave in the bottom middle of it. Juugo quickly put Naruto belly down on his head with his paws hanging off the sides as he poured some of his chakra into the seal that protected the entrance. 

Naruto watched as the entrance opened, showing a deep tunnel. Juugo followed the tunnel to the end until he reached a smaller cave that looked like a room. Inside the room was a red head woman with horizontal oval glasses. She looked at the fox curiously before pinching his cheeks.
