I am SO sorry! This is so late! I've been so busy!

im writing in small parts cause I don't wanna take a year before I can publish the book and I am sometimes busy or just stumped for ideas.

Part 4

We hiked on all through the night stopping once to hide from some guards passing by. Other than the guards the road was empty. I walked close to Brody, he knew I was scared of the dark and knew why. As we walked down the empty street, all we could see was smoking buildings. The kings men had been looking for us. " we need to get off the road" Max muttered "well obviously" said Tyler. They started to argue and were getting loud, I stepped in between them, " shut up you two! with all the racket your making you'll lead the kings army right to us!" They both glared at me but stayed quiet. "shut up you guys" Brody whispered. "we weren't talking" Max shot back. Brody was looking at the road behind us, " we need to move, now" why??" Ever asked. ""the kings men are close."  Max your supposed to be listening for them!" Em plz be quiet" said brody. I glared at him but stayed quiet." Follow me" said Tyler and walked quickly into a dark alley. I hesitated in the light, "Come on Em" said Brody walking beside me as we entered the pitch black alley, no one knew what would be waiting for us but we had no choice.
