Part 5

Run Em! Brody yelled, it seemed to echo almost like it wasn't quite happening right there. Then I saw it happen, them grabbing Brody and taking him to god knows where. I woke up breathing hard, Ever sat up quickly " are you okay?" Y-ya I'm finding stuttered go back to sleep." I layed down an pretended to be asleep until Ever was asleep again, then I climbed on the roof of the old shack we were calling home and sat down. I started crying while thinking of Brody and how I didn't know if he was still alive or not. I didn't hear Max come up behind me till he put his arm around me, "you okay?" I'm f-fine" I said looking away. "I always could tell when you were lying Em."I looked at him again "it's all my fault! If I hadn't run off Brody wouldn't be dead!" I started crying again. "Em it's not your fault. And he's not dead." Max said in a determined voice. " how do you know?" Because I just do." We sat up there for awhile, then we saw somthing in the dark, " what's that?" I whispered," oh my god it's the kings men!" I jumped off the roof and slid into the house after Max," get up now!" We both said. "Why?" Groaned Tyler, " the kings men are here! " Tyler jumped up and we got Lillian and Ever up and all ran out the door. We cut into the back alley hoping to avoid the army. "Stop!" We heard someone yell. We looked behind us and saw the kings army, they had Brody.

I'm sry my parts are so short. But I want to get them out quickly instead of one large part every month or so. I post a bunch of small parts every week or so :)
