I knew when i saw his eyes glow pink that this wasn't cosplay.
"Well, claude are you going to just stand there or help her? We need her remember?" Alois asked.
Need me? Why would they need me?
I swallowed and felt the blade of the knife on my throat. I looked at the pair with pleading eyes and Claude took a step foreward. Before I knew it the man was on the ground. I looked up at Claude and Alois and ran. I saw the buildings whirr past me and then I was knocked to the ground. I felt arms around me and heard a younger voice.
"We save you and this is how you repay us?" Alois asks angrily.
I cover my face, remembering what he had done to Hannah.
"What do you want from me?" I whispered.
"We can't tell you that just yet m'lady." I hear Claude's voice by my ear.
I still have my face hidden behind my hands and I feel soft hands gently pry them away.
"Im sorry..I didn't mean to frighten you." Alois looks at me apologeticly.
Tears start running down my cheeks.
" Did that awful man hurt you? I can have Claude go back and kill the bloody bastard if you wish."
I shook my head and kept crying uncontrolably.
" Can you please take me home?'' I asked.
"I'm terribly sorry, but the young master needs you. You will be staying in our manor for the time being." Claude says.
"I don't really have a choice, do I?" i sighed.
"im afraid not, m'lady." Claude siad
I sighed in ssurrender and allowed claude to carry me. They walked to the manor and I gasped at how the outside looked. It had yellow siding, and a stained glass door. The roof had brownish russet red shingles, and the windows were huge. It was a three story house, and a pond occupied the side yard. There was a circle round driveway and a large flowerbed on both sides of the porch. It was dark so i couldnt see the colour of the flowers. My eyes widened. I had never seen a house this large before. I was too exausted to observe my other surroundings, and i welcomed the pitch black darkness.
