His eyes so deep that i drowned in the first sight,
His voice so melodious that i might have danced in delight.
My thoughts are invaded by his chuckle
Oh dear lord! Is this a sign of any trouble?
-Ashley
I entered my cabin and settled in my chair behind a mahogany desk. I swiveled in my chair and looked outside the window in the beautiful city of New York. I've lived here since I opened my eyes and saw my parents grinning brightly. The beautiful city has so much to give, all the skyscrapers, the museums, the people. Living here in New York is a blissful feeling.
Although my parents have shifted to our family house few kilometers away from the city, they too love New York immensely. My father, Eric Waters, retired when I was 19 and focused on the barns out there. My mother, Poly Waters, helped him in the same.
I turned around and decided to snap out of the memories and do some work. Well, I thought for a while about it but that beautiful man had invaded my thoughts.
It was 2 already and the lunch time approached. I got up from my chair and got out of my cabin. Guess the boss was not well or something because he did not intrude when I moved out of the office.
I entered my favourite coffee shop and settled myself in my usual spot. Jerr noticed me and waved me. He came to me and sat opposite on my table. "Good afternoon young lady! Should I get you your usual?"
"Yes Jerry! Thank you so much, you know me too well!"
He smiled and got up but stopped suddenly. "Ah! My bad. I forgot to tell you, the guy who gave me that napkin yesterday came today. He sat right here today and was asking about you. He even gave this and told me to give this to you!" Jerr handed me a paper and went away.
I took that paper and was perplexed for a while. My thoughts went back to his poem. I opened that paper and began to read:
I looked for you everywhere but my search went in vain,
Are your thoughts too invaded by me? Is our situation the same?
I offer you a hand of friendship; will you like to accept it beautiful?
To know you deeper is my foremost aim.
-Dave
I closed the paper and many emotions filled inside me- overwhelmed, satisfaction, infatuation and confusion.
Satisfied that he is like I thought he would be and overwhelmed because oh my god! I invaded his thoughts too? Infatuation, obviously with his talent and confusion that why he wanted to befriend me? It's not that something is wrong with that but he wrote as if he knows me more that my expectation.
I stood up and walked to Jerr," Hey Jerr! Can you tell me at what time he came here? And did he leave any message?"
"He came around 10 and no, as in not yet." He said with a smirk. "But he was reading your pieces intact there on the wall and was penning something down in a Shakespeare book"
I listened to him and pieces joined together. Oh Holly molly! Was he the boy I got collided with this morning? He left the bookshop earlier but maybe he did some errands and then came here or something like that. I became shell shocked yet fucking happy at the same time.
I handsome person interested in writing, well that is so rare now a days. I jumped with happiness and Jerr gave me 'you're hella weird' look. I took my coffee from him and sat down on my table thinking to write a reply.
I will be glad to be friend with you, gentleman,
We'll meet sometime soon whenever we can.
I hope to see you day after tomorrow at two?
We'll get acquainted, till then adieu!
-Ashley
I gave the paper to Jerr "Jerr the coffee was amazing as always. And please can you give that boy t his paper from me?"
"Yes sure Ash. Thank you!"
I smiled and left the money for coffee on the booth. I exited the coffee shop and went to office getting a topic for my article.
I exclaimed with joy "Oh yes! The idea is likeable and maybe teens will love it"
I took my laptop and started writing an article on "Anonymous love."
