Chapter 3: The Journel

Hi guys just a heads up i changed Midges description if you already don't know. He doesnt have brown hair anymore he has red hair. I decided that all leprechauns should have red hair and if you have red hair and are reading this im not offending you because im a redhead too. Heres the chapter!

Chapter 3:

"We have two decisions..." Midge states while pacing back and forth. "We can go look for our brothers or... We can see whats up with those things." He says. "Ok first we need to think of a name for these things because saying 'these things' is getting a little anoying." I say while standing up. "Ok thats a good idea! Maybe we can find something in those bags they left over there." Midge says while pointing his finger to there bags. "I never noticed that there were bags there? And we should but we have to be quick or we won't be able to find our brothers." I explained. "Ok well lets go!" Midge says while pushing me towards the bags.

There were 2 bags. One was black and the other was gray. Who would pick those colours anyways. Whats wrong with green and orange. Geez. Midge goes to the closest bag while I go to the furthest. We started scrambling through the bags as i saw some pretty cool stuff.

The following is the things i found in the bag:

- a picture of a woman with jet black hair

- a circle thing with letters and a red line (compass)

- some clothes

- bathroom supplies (toothbrush toothpaste etc.)

- a bottle of water

- a book

I opened the book to see lots of writing and pictures. I started looking through the book, flipping through the pages. Plants, Things that are safe to eat, things that aren't safe to eat, how to set up a tent, and the one that caught my eye the most. Creatures of the forest.

I started to read the page. Bears, wolves, and coyotes. Hm never heard of those creatures before. I've heard of fairies, unicorns, and pixies though. It said that these creatures were dangerous and to keep away from them. So they were kinda like giants, trolls, and gremlins. I've never seen any of those before. Sometimes the fairies would come once in a while to pick up there packages they ordered. Pixies are tricksters. They like to pull practical jokes but never to hurt anyone. Lets just say you wouldn't go see a pixie for advise. Unless you wanted to be stupid. Unicorns are all pretty and perfect and think about themselves most of the time. But they were nice if you friended them.

I flipped through the pages, and came across a page that said my 'journal'.

I started reading.

Day: 1

I'm hiding in a huge bush right now. My crew and I were walking and we heard a roar. I thought it was a wolf but it was more... Fierce. We ran into a bush but two were left behind. Jon and Jen. They were brother and sister and two of my best friends.

Day 2:

After 15 minutes of waiting we decided that the coast was clear. We went off to look for Jon and Jen...

I went off to look a bit further then the others and i found one. Jen was huddled up in a corner of a cave, Jon no where to be found. She had bloody hands and a cut on her forehead. She was all dirty and her clothes ripped. She said she was running when something picked her up and she saw Jon, who saved her. I picked her up and asked her more questions but she just burst into tears. Something

was weird in this forest.

Day 3: Two of my friends died a couple of hours ago. It was Frank and Jacob. It was my fault. I told them to go fill up the canteens. After 10 minutes I rushed to the river to see what was taking them so long. I saw Frank and Jacob being tossed around the river by a force coming from under the water. They kept on trying to swim back to the shore but were tugged away again and again. I watched in agony for a minute then tried to help them out. I jumped into the water but was shocked. Electricity went through my body as i seen a fin above the water swim towards Frank and Jacob. I saw them being swallowed whole before i blacked out.

Day 5: I finally woke up. Everyone was worried about me. I was out cold for a day. Apparently the electric shock was to much for my body and I couldn't handle it. We decided to separate into groups. Mark and I were in a group and Sheena and Joel.

Day 6: Mark and I were walking in the forest when we heard whispering and footsteps. It sounded like there were two boys. In there pre-teens. They were talking but I was to far away to hear. Just as i leaned closer an alarm went off. Mark and I dove into the closest bush as I saw two figures run off. After 5 minutes of alarms it stopped and I saw a huge brick wall right in front of me.

I gaped at the book. The things that happened to this thing. The monster that was chasing them was a blood troll. I learned in class that when a blood troll feels that something is strange he/she will find it, and do terrible things to it. The monster that attacked Frank and Jacob was a Atrigator. Unfortunately its the Atrigator's laying eggs season...

"Midge, you might want to see this." I explain. "Is it any good?" He ask while walking towards me. "Oh yea!" I say. He flips through the pages an mumbles. "Oh my green shoes!" He says flattered. I was startled by an unknown voice. "Hey! Look there robbing our things!"

I know , I know! Very short chapter! The next one will be the different POV of what happened to Jen, Jacob, and Frank. That will be up probably Thursday morning! Hope you liked!
