The Lighting Kingdom Part 1 { ON HOLD }

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Ruji King and I am 15 years old. I am also the prince of the lighting kingdom. My mother is named Kana King and my father is named Johnny King. As the prince of the lighting kingdom I have a lot of responsibilities, especially since my dad is cursed. I mean, he won't die he's just old. I mean. Well.... This is how it works, my dad was on a mission one day back when he was 24. He slewed a witch but she left a curse that made him turn into a frail ,defenseless old man who can barely walk. The only time he can change back is when he's under a great amount of pressure, sooooo I don't really see him a lot.

Anyway, things are pretty peaceful here in the lighting kingdom. A couple years back they made a school for children that bare the 12 magical orbs ,called Jonathan High - School for the Gifted, so I'm learning to be a hero. My best friends go to school here too. There names are Danny and Nadoka. Danny has the red orb and Nodoka has the blue orb. With my power comes a sword , Danny can control any metal, and Nodoka can use water and has a bow and arrow. Danny is the biggest flirt in school and Nodoka is the second smartest person in school and does basically every sport there is. We're all in a team together and we're unstoppable. I remember one time when...

"Kana : "RUJI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Ruji: "Yes mom"

Kana: " You'll be late for school"

Ruji: " Coming mom"

~At school

SMACK !
Danny don't ever talk to me again. I never want to see you . You are a horrible person and hope you get hit by a bus!!" I said I was sorry I thought that you were your sister." This is goodbye Danny..........Bye.

Ruji: "Nice going Danny that's the third girl this week."

Danny: "okay I forgot soooo"

Nodoka : Your an idiot

Ruji: Yep, let's go see the test scores for the central exam.

They made their way down the hall to the message board. It was covered with kids poking and laughing at the board.they slowly made there way up to the f not by pushing and squeezing through the crowd. When they finally go through , they looked over the scores. Danny had the fourth from lowest grade, Nodoka had second place, and Ruji was tied to first with the student council president. DING-DONG. "There goes the bell.Lets go before we're late for class.", said Ruji.

~After School

Ruji, Nadoka, and Danny are walking home from school.

Ping.

Ruji: " Sorry guys, my mom just texted me to go buy some eggs from the store.

Nadoka:Bye-Bye Ruji

Danny: See you later.

~8:00 pm

As Ruji was walking down the road he heard a low crash." What was that?" , asked Ruji .

Unknown : Get him before he warps again.

"Hhhhheeeeellpppppp. Abuse of an elderly , aaabbuuussseessssssssssssssssssssssss."
"What was that?" Then he ran towards the noise and saw three men surrounding him with a gun pointed towards his head. "Stop what you're doing or I will have to use force." " Get out of here kid before I blow your brains out." , said the first unknown figure. Ruji placed the eggs down and slowly pulled his hand up. "I hope this work." He slowed his breathing and focused his power into his hand . BOOM!!!!! " It worked", he screamed. He just shot three lighting bolts out of his hand and hit the men.

Uhhhh. He then remembered the old man and quickly ran over to make sure he was okay. "Are you okay?", he asked full of concern . " Yes", he said huskily. I have to get home please. He tried to lift the old man but then realized that he was bleeding heavily out his side.

Ruji: "You need to go to the hospital."

Old man: " No just take me home please. It's in the park."

The park isn't really that far. It'll take 30 minutes to get to the hospital. I could call the hospital from my phone.

Ruji: " Okay"

Uhhhhh.BAM!!!! One of the figures got up and tried to shoot them. He barely missed and it grazed Ruji's left ear. "Let's go!",he yelled. He hoisted the old man up and put him on his back. He then ran into the misty darkness and headed towards the park.
