The Lighting Kingdom Part 1 { ON HOLD }

Chapter 4

It was a bright, sunny morning in the King's home. Ruji slowly got up and looked at his clock. It was 8 in the morning. He wondered why he was so tired and got up. He walked towards the mirror in his room and looked at his reflection. His golden blond hair was all frizzy and his eyes had bags. He just couldn't remember what happened last night that causes him to be so tired.

He looked at the calendar and realized it was Saturday and he hadn't went on his morning jog. He took a quick shower and put on red shorts and a gray shirt that showed his muscles. His goal last summer was to have a six-pack which you could now see was successful. He grabbed his phone and headed down stairs for breakfast.

He left the house at 9:30. His parents had already left for a morning meeting. He locked the door and started jogging towards the park. As he jogged by the park he looked at the closed part of the park. Something inside him wanted to go towards there. He looked around and then slowly walked to the keep out sign. He could barely see anything till he fell in a hole.

Ruji's POV

I felt something sharp poking my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a girl with raven black hair........ Wait. Then everything that happened last night came back to me. The alley, Shiba, his death, and Muromi. He looked up to see Muromi with a stick in her hand.

Ruji: " Did you poke me?"

Muromi:" Uhm......"

Then I stood up which made her jump back while hiding the stick behind her. I looked at her  and she started  to tremble. I bent down to her level and waited till she looked up and smiled. She looked at me for a while and stopped trembling.

I stood up and looked around.

Muromi: " Soo, did you find an answer?"

Ruji: "Yeah, the answer is yes."

She looked shocked and confused. "B-b-but why?", she stammered then started babbling about monsters and rocks. I bent back down and looked at her. She stopped talking immediately and looked at me. Her checks slowly turned raspberry red and she fell to the ground and covered her face. I bent  down and asked her if she was okay. She whispered something about being to close and I backed away and sat down on the ground. She finally found her composure and sat down with her legs bent up to cover half her face.

Ruji:" So what do I have to do to become your ...uhm .....master?"

Muromi: "First you have to sign a contract to legalize that you accept that you are my master. Since I will be your servant and follow your instructions."

Ruji:" So where is the contract ? And you wouldn't have to be my servant, I'm just doing to help you and Shiba."

She looked at me confused like she didn't know what I was saying, then she shook her head and reached behind her to grab a large round thing shaped like a tire but a little smaller. It was yellow with 8 gray holes on the sides. The top of it had some type of ancient writing that was in four circles that were over lapping each other. It looked very heavy and she was carrying it around like it weighted nothing.

She the turned it upside down and sat in front of me, making sure there was some distance between us , she put it in the grass.

Muromi:" Basically, this is the contract. The whole you see in the middle is where your blood goes. My blood is already mixed in it. This is the first step to legalize our................partnership. "
