The Lighting Kingdom Part 1 { ON HOLD }

Chapter 3

He sat in the silence and listened to Muromi cries. Ruji then looked up and finally got a good look at Muromi. She was very small and had long,raven black hair that looked just like silk as it slowly blew in the wind. She looked younger than him. (Ruji is 16years ) and her eyes were sky blue and her skin was as pale as the moon.

......Wait, pale skin? Is she a vampire? Could this be a trick to get my blood?  Wait ,now I shouldn't judge people off their looks, its not right.

Ruji: " Uhm.."

Muromi wipes her eyes and slowly looks up with tears in her eyes. Suddenly he felt something click in him, he felt like wiping her tears away . They stare at each each for almost a minute till he heard something move in the bush and it brought him back.

Ruji: "I-I-I'm sorry for your lost . I offered to take him to the hospital but he wanted to come here first. I .."

Muromi : "T-T-Thank you for binging him here. "

Ruji:" Your welcome. ..............Soooo,  what do we do now?"

Muromi : " It kind of depends on your answer. I won't force you to become my new master. I don't want to ruin your life because of me. Truly I don't want you to die , it seems like everyone goes through bad things when they meet me. You seem like a nice person. You should know that I'm very different. I don't know that much and I've never been to the outside world either."

Ruji:" It doesn't matter , your in danger and I'll help you. But could you tell me who might be after you?"

Muromi: " I don't know myself but, Shiba said to never go outside. "

Ruji:" Okay...... Uhm........What do we do with.......ahhh....... I mean.. "

Muromi:" Oh, I can take care of it ,you can just come by in the morning or whenever you comfortable."

She said looking down at the ground trying to avoid eye contact. Ruji sensed it and got up which made her flinch.

Ruji:" I'll stop by in the morning okay. Anyway, my name is Ruji. Nice to meet you."

He said with a glistening white smile which blinded Muromi's eyes .

Muromi :" S-s-sure."

Ruji: " But if your uncomfortable with it you can just say no. I mean, you don't really know me, it's up to you really."

Muromi stared at the boy in disbelief, no one one has ever left anything up to her to decide. While Ruji stared at her deep sky blue eyes, it was as if he stared at them too long he would get lost in them.

He heard another rustle and he looked away. Muromi told him to follow her and slowly walked towards where Ruji fell in from. He asked if Muromi was okay and slowly climbed back into the hole and waved goodbye. She waved back too but still had a sad expression on her face.

~ At Ruji's home

Kana: " Why are you so late?!"

Ruji:" Sorry mom, something came up."

Ruji said groggily and slowly crawled up the stairs of his house. He had fairly good sized house. Unlike the other houses of the orb warriors , they didn't have mansions and state-sized acres of land. Just a quaint,white two-story house with a fairly sized yard.

He plopped on his bed and started to think about what happened today. He knew that he should tell his mom, but he felt as if she shouldn't tell her too. He was confused and didn't understand anything that happened. He has been to that park his whole entire life, how is it that he never noticed that people have been living there! Then he thought about Muromi, she must be in absolute shock. It seems like it was just the two of them living together too. He couldn't erase her sad expression from his mind. Her big blue eyes filled with tears, her small frame shivering due to the lost of a loved one, and her black Raven hair being blown by in the breeze. He then stared up at the ceiling and slowly drifted off to sleep.

~Muromi's House

This is the third time she started crying and she still can't believe that he was dead.Even if he was mean sometimes she stilled looked up to him. She slowly picked him up and carried him to the farthest part of the room. Well basically it was like multiple worlds all connected to one. She knew that is was originally a dungeon because of the spirits she would see moving across the walls sometimes. She found an old oak tree and decided that this would be the best place to bury him since he brought his lady friends here multiple times.

Then she laid a couple of moon flowers and peppermints on his grave since he always smelled like peppermints and those were the closes flowers around. Then she turned around and looked at the moon. She thought of the boy she just met. He was really tall and had blue eyes just like her! His smile was way to bright and looked like he had a flashlight in his mouth. She felt weird when he was staring into her ,eyes and could feel something stir inside her. Now that she thinks about it, it could have just been indigestion. She then walks  towards a boulder and lays on top of it. She then looks at Shiba's grave , then the moon. She tells Shiba good night and crawls up into the ball and  stares at Shiba's grave until she slowly started tearing up again and cried herself to sleep.
