Steph's POV
The ride home was in silence, the girls were asked not to tell grandma in case of her freaking out and telling Herald. Carrie never came back and I'm afraid she is hurt or she hurt Callie because as she ran off her fangs were out and her eyes had that blood lust in them. It's not usual for Carrie to show her vamp side at all she is so good at controlling it.
I walked around nervously for about two hours when Carrie finally arrived home. I ran into her arms yelling "Never leave like that again! I thought you were hurt or worse!"
"Awe baby I'm sorry, I really am, Im not hurt but Callie and I have had a nice little chat and I don't think she will be bothering you again!" Callie apologized.
"Please tell me you didn't hurt her!" I groaned.
"No, she is fine I didn't attack her a second time, she was to sore from the first time to make any advances at me so I sat down and talked to her. I'm not going to lie I might have threatened her but no I didn't hurt her." Callie smirked before walking off to go take a shower.
I just shook me head as I watched her walk away. I then joined the group in the kitchen at our giant wooden table. I noticed a familiar little ginger sitting amongst them.
"Hey Steph!" Kiara gleamed.
"Hey nice to see you again Kiara, what brings you to my lovely house?" I questioned.
"Oh I was just around and thought I should stop by and visit my amazing alpha!" She smirked playfully.
"Such a suck up," I joked rolling my eyes. I sat down next to her smiling at the rest of my family. I loved them like they were my own blood. Adam holding Koral as Sam sat next to him with his head on Adam's shoulder and Miley the shyest out of all of us has grown to feel like my little sister. We started talking about training for the pack when a bunch of muffled noises started heading our way and in stepped Carrie with Sapphire on her back, April on her waist, and Zoey following close behind.
"Aunt Care won't give us out popcorn back!" Sapphire whined as Carrie held a bowl of popcorn above her head with one hand and ate some popcorn with the other.
"Carrieeee we are missing batman give us our popcorn back!" April cried.
"Come on Boo Boo give the poor kids their food so they can finish their movie!" I playfully scolded. She pouted as she handed the bowl to April and Sapphire jumped off her back and they both ran into the living room.
"So what's this I hear about training!" Carrie plops down loudly on the chair next to me as Zoey crawls up into my lap. I kissed the top of her head as she took the pencil and piece of paper from on the table and started scribbling.
"Well I want our pack to stay skilled so I need to have a few good trainers to keep them on their toes! I don't trust Vanessa and I have a feeling we might end up in a battle!" I sighed a battle was the last thing I wanted.
I noticed Kiara's light grey eyes flicker to Miley and Miley would blush. Awe how cute is her little crush! I looked over at Carrie who was thinking thoughtfully.
"I will train part time till I find something else better to do with myself" Carrie finally said.
"YAY!" Zoey shouted and we all laughed at her cuteness, even though she has no idea what we are talking about.
"Maybe we should have extra border patrol too." Kiara pipped in.
"Great idea Kiara, in a little bit can you go call a pack meeting at the pack house?" I praised her.
"Of course I can," Kiara responded.
"Okay so we will train on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday's from 4-8. Then we will have send four groups of 4 members every other hour to check the borders. Nobody over the age of 50 and nobody under the age of 17, how does that sound to you guys?" I came up with.
"Sounds good babe!" Adam and Carrie said at the same time earning a glare from each other. I laughed as I stood up holding Zoey as the table broke up and headed their own ways for the meeting. Carrie rested her pretty little head on my shoulder staring at little Zoey.
"I can't believe my lesbian lover is a mother!" She half whispered making me laugh.
"Oh don't be jealous you will always be my main girl," I winked at her.
"I hope so..." I barley made out her whisper. I elbowed her in the side "hey who knows maybe my little bada..." I quickly caught myself "badace with get a big family of her own sooner or later!" She smiled up at me as we walked out the doors. God do I love my best friend!

I had my baby girl on my lap, my best friend and Beta to my right and little Kiara on my left as I looked out over the large room packed tight with her members. Miley, Adam, Sam, and the girls were sitting on the couch on stage.
"I have called this pack meeting in regards of some changes!" I announced. There was some groans in the crowd. I ignored them and kept on "from now on you will be training Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 4-8 at the battlefields. You all will be placed in a certain group by ages: Newbies, from the time you have your first change to 12. Youth 13-15. Young adults 16-18 and adults 19+. I know it might be confusing at first but it's for a purpose! Each group will have two selected trainers who will report back to me! Also we are starting to send out border patrol more often, there is no threat but I still do not trust our fellow pack! 4 groups of 4, every other hour, no one over the age of 50 and nobody under the age of 17! You will all take turns some if you will one week others another. Do you all understand me! I preached as my leadership showed.
"Yeah! Do you understand Mamma!" Zoey yelled into the microphone with her baby voice. Everybody laughed before agreeing.
"Now just hang in tight for a few more minutes while we decide the trainers and you are all free to leave." I told them.
"I haven't seen anyone fight so I'm putting my faith in you Kiki," I said to Kiara.
She smirked at her new nickname and answered " If I may I will take on the newbies, with the help of Miley when she isn't busy with the girls." She stopped and I nodded my head okay. "Then Cody Johnson and Maria Garcia for youth." She added thoughtfully.
"I will do the young adults." A deep voice behind us announced. We all jumped and turned to see my grandpa smiling at us with pride.
"Then Carrie and Rachel Tanner for the adults." Kiara finished proudly.
I looked back towards my pack and cleared my throat "Newbie trainers are Kiara Tucker here and Miley West over there," I pointed towards the couch and Miley's eyes widened before her face blushing as Kiara stared at her smiling.
"Youth is Maria Garcia," a small built cute Mexican girl stood up and walked forwards "and Cody Johnson" a brunette with freckles and a lip piercing walked up she looked badass!
"Young adults is former Alpha my grandfather Harold,"
"Lastly Adults are my beautiful Beta right here, that you hadn't been introduced to, this is Carrie Ann, you better respect her as much as me if you know what's best for you!" I threatened. "Carrie and Rachel Tanner!" A beautiful older woman stood up. She kept staring at me with tear filled eyes but looked away before I could question it anymore.
"Now you are all released have a good rest!" I finished.
Zoey pulled on my shirt and I looked down, "yes baby?" She looked at me with her big blue eyes. A big beautiful smile filling her face before answering, "I love you Mamma! Just like my real mom." My eyes filled with tears as I looked at the four year old on my lap. The tears started falling and her face was confused.
"What's wrong Mamma?" She asked sweetly.
"Nothing baby girl, I love you too!" I smiled through the tears as I hugged her. I could her awes from next to me as my new family started to get a little emotional too!
