Getting Ready

Kerri and I have been getting ready for our big day. Today I was going dress shopping with my sisters and mommy. The first dress I tried on was a white mermaid dress and it had sparkles at the bottom.

Toni: Do you guys like this dress?

Nobody said nothing for a while and then Tamar spoke.

Tamar: Well, the dress ugly. You can't even dance in it.

Traci: That is true.

Trina: Back to the drawing board!

Toni P.O.V
The next dress was a white ball gown dress and it was strapless. It also had sparkles at the top. When I walked out, everyone said "Oooooooooo!"

Toni: I think this is the one. (smiling)

Toni P.O.V
I had saw my mommy smiling and crying.

Ms. E P.O.V
My daughter looked beautiful. She is growing up so fast.

Tamar: I like that dress. Can I "borrow" it for my wedding?

Ms. E: Tamar when you have your wedding I will buy you a dress.

Tamar: Yay!

Toni: Now I have to get you girls dresses because your going to be the bridesmaids.

Tamar: SHE WILL BE THE FLOWER GIRL!

Towanda: We know Tamar.

Toni: Kerri and I decided that we want peach and white to be our colors.

Toni P.O.V
For Traci, Trina, and Towanada dresses, I picked out a peach dress with a white bow on the side. For Tamar dress, I picked a white dress with a peach bow in the middle.

Tamar: I don't like this dress.

Ms. E: You can't decide your dress. This is Toni's wedding

Tamar: (pouting)

Traci: The dress isn't ugly but... it's plain.

Trina: I like it.

Towanda: What if we get a purple dress?

Tamar: What about pink? SHE WANTS PINK!!

Toni P.O.V
They kept talking and talking and I had to stop it.

Toni: EVERYBODY STOP! We are wearing these dresses and this is the color! No pink, no purple! I'm already stressed about this wedding.

Tamar: Someone is being a bridezilla.

All: (laughing)

Toni P.O.V
After we had bought the dresses, I had to go with Kerri to go taste cakes.

Planner: Hello. My name is Laila and I will be your planner for your wedding.

Kerri: Ok.

Laila: So have you guys decided what your wedding colors will be?

Toni: We would like peach and white.

Laila: So, what flavor do you want your cake to be?

Kerri: Well, we want chocolate.

Toni: (shakes head) No. We want red velvet.

Kerri: Why do you want red velvet?

Toni: Because, it tastes great and we are not getting chocolate.

Kerri: (sighs) Ok then.

Planner: (laughs) So we have 4 different red velvet cakes we made today for you.

Toni P.O.V
The first cake had regular white frosting and tasted ok. The second cake had yellow frosting and tasted good. The third cake had purple frosting and the cake tasted like sweet cornbread. The last cake had cream cheese and tasted great.

Kerri P.O.V
The cakes just tasted like cake to me.

Toni: I like the last cake the best.

Planner: Ok. Here is what the cake will look like.

Toni P.O.V
Laila has showed us a 4 layer cake with strawberries and cream cheese.

Toni: What if instead of strawberries we use peaches.

Planner: That is a good idea. So where do you want your wedding to be?

Kerri: Well I want it to be at the beach

Toni: It is going to be at my father's church.

Kerri: (looks at Toni) Anything you want babe.

Toni: Thank you.

Planner: Ok. We are all done today. I will call you tommorow.

Toni: Ok. Bye.

At home

Kerri: Why didn't you agree with me when we were planning our wedding?

Toni: You could have agreed with me, but you were being stubborn.

Kerri: No I wasnt't.

Toni: (looks at Kerri) Lies you tell!

Kerri: I love the way you say that. (grabs Toni's waist and kisses her)

Toni: Kerri you cant wait until we get married?

Kerri: No, I cant. I love you too much.

Toni: Well, you pissed me off when we were planning our wedding. So no Toni for you. (walks upstairs)

Kerri: (whispers) Shoot.

Toni: I heard that.
