Zachary's POV:

I've finally found her, after all this years. I even remembered when my mother first told me about mates, I wanted to find her at that right moment and take care of her, after all, she is mine and only mine. She is so beautiful that I can't take my eyes out of her and let's not talk about my mind where my wolf is being horny as hell. I can tell by the way she is talking, more like shuttering that she is still afraid and I can't put my finger in what is making her feel that way but I don't like it one bit so I decided that if I distract her maybe she'll stop thinking about that.

"Let's have dinner and talk about ourselves" I said to her in a friendly way so that she feels safe and comfortable around me.

"Okay" She answered really slowly.

Once in the kitchen I remembered that as I wanted my privacy with Sophie, I told everyone to leave my house, even Clara the woman who works here; so I guess I'll order delivery so I went in search for my phone and when I was coming back at the kitchen I found my gorgeous mate taking some ingredients to cook something and this just keeps getting better, don't misunderstand me I am not a sexist man but when women know know how to cook that's a turn on. However I don't expect her to cook all the time, I will do that as well and Clara.

SOPHIE'S POV

Zach left the kitchen so I opened the fridge and found nothing so I guess I'm cooking something. As I was hungry I decided to cook something quickly and that is pasta so I started to boil the water and setting the table for two and it was difficult to find everything because it was my first time in this kitchen.

Suddenly when I was putting the pasta inside the boiled water I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist and by tingles around my body I knew it was Zach so I turned around and said "Look Zach you are really handsome and everything, also you are my mate but we still don't know each others so this is really awkward for me sorry but I've never had nothing close to a relationship except for Kian, but that was long ago, anyway the idea is that you make me nervous so let's go slower, okay??" I said really fast, he really made me nervous.

"Of course, anything for you" He said letting go of me and then while he was going to the table he said to himself "I won't forget about this Kian dude" but of course I heard him.

After five minutes the dinner was ready and we were both at the table and I said "Okay let's get to know each others".

"Tell me about your family" I continued and I saw a little smile play in his lips and did I said he was beautiful and when he smile's just perfect.

"Well my father he is a really cold man, he said he never found his mate but anyway fell in love with my mom, she is a really caring woman, her name is Amanda, then there are my siblings well we are my little sis Mia, she is 8 years old and is a really clumsy girl, and then my brother who you already know" He said and when he talked about his brother he made me feel so curious because I doubt I know him.

"I do??" I asked thinking really hard who could it be.

"Vincent, he is actually my step brother and I didn't know it until last year, he was neglected before he was even born by my father, so his mother then found her mate while she was pregnant and he accepted her and gave Vincent his last name and of course raised him as his own" He said with sympathy towards Vincent.

I never even imagined that I mean they look alike, they are both tall, brunettes and that both have light colors in their eyes but you can't even imagine they are half brothers because they are still so different in other aspects, and I couldn't help but to think, Why were they at war?? I mean they are blood related, however I kept that question to myself.
