*January 6, 2021*
Riker's POV:
The clouds were so beautiful. I looked out the window of the plane, seeing the light blue sky and the off-white clouds. Oh, yeah! I probably should say why I'm on a plane. See, tomorrow is Lanie's birthday, and for her birthday, the family is taking a trip to Littleton.
I lifted the arm rest because those things get on my nerves. I laid my head on Lanie's shoulder and put one of my arms around her waist, trying to pull her closer to me. I obviously knew it wouldn't help too much because she had a seatbelt on, but I had to try.
"You're so cold!" I said. She nodded. I managed to obtain my flannel that was tied around my waist. "Here take my flannel." I handed to her and she quickly put it on. I took a blanket out of my backpack and put it over both of our legs, seeing as we both had shorts on. I took my phone out and put my earbuds in.
I gave Lanie one and put the other one in my ear. I scrolled through my options until I found what I wanted. On planes, I liked playing softer music, so I chose Superheroes by The Script.
"Cause he's stronger than you know. A heart of steel starts to grow," I sang very softly into Lanie's shoulder.
After about an hour and a half of listening to music, the plane landed. After getting off and retrieving our luggage, we went to get a rental car. We got a van and a car since not all of us could fit in one van. Man, when we all have kids we are going to need a school bus.
Once we got to Mamoo's house, we all rushed out of the car. Yes, we just got to see her on Christmas, but we were always happy to see her. Everyone group hugged when she opened the door. She led us inside, and we all sat down.
"I'm so happy to see my child, son-in-law, all my grandchildren, my granddaughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, my future daughter-in-laws," Mamoo paused, pointing at each one of us as she went on. She went over to Lanie and lifted up her left hand. She looked at me. "Still nothing." I shook my head, almost smiling. She moved on to Rydel and put her hand on her stomach. "And future great grandchild."
"You mean future great grandson," Rydel said, grinning. Everybody was shocked since she hadn't told any of us the gender. We were all very excited with the new knowledge of my future nephew's gender. I knew Rydel had hoped for a girl, but I know she's going to be happy just to have a child. I personally want to have boys. I would be the most overprotective father ever for a girl, so she probably wouldn't get married until I'm dead because I'd scare all the boys off. I'd be the guy to sit on my front porch with a shotgun just to keep her date away. He w- Wow, ok. I'm overthinking this way too much.
"So, Rocky and Justice, Ryland and Savannah, got any news?" Mamoo asked, smirking. Ryland and Savannah shook their heads, but I saw Rocky smiling.
"Rocky?" I said, looking over at him.
"Hey, look at me! I'm not the pregnant one." He looked over at Justice, grinning. I hadn't seen him this happy since his wedding. He always looked happy since he's been with Justice but right now was more like overjoyed.
"It's true. I'm pregnant. I just found out last week. I'm a month along," Justice said, leaning her head on Rocky's shoulder. Rocky put his hand on her stomach and gently rubbed it. I looked to my side and saw Lanie taking a picture of them. I put my head on her shoulder so I could watch what she was doing. She sent the picture to Rocky and Justice. They picked up their phones and smiled. I saw Rocky typing something. Lanie's phone dinged, but it was twitter notification.

I smiled at that one. It didn't take the fans very long to accept our relationship. Most of them were shippers to begin with, and there were some haters of course. There still are a few haters, but neither of us are bothered by it. The next tweet was the one that shocked me.
@rilanie4never: @kendra_r5 not gonna happen. Riker cheated on me when we were dating, and he'll probably do the same with her.
