She stayed in the restroom for awhole period. She rides the bus home. When it comes to her stop she gets up and squeeze though the crowd. She remembers when it use to be simple to get on up and off.
Dashell called and asked Maxine if she wanted to go to the movies this Saturday.
Saturday
Maxine went into her parents room and slid the ln bed between them. One was polishing the nails the other was writing. Maxine was on her belly so she flipped over to not hurt the baby.
"Hey parents. I love y'all."said Maxine.
"Hell nawl goodnight." Said the momma
"Can I go to the movies tonight with my squad?"
The mom playfully snores.
The dad pulled some money out the drawer and hands it to her.
Daddy: be back here before 3
Maxine :okay thanks daddy
Maxine kisses his bald head runs up the stairs.
She puts on black tights and a black and white Nike shirt with her air force ones.
A horn blows outside and maxine runs out and hops inside the drop top.
Dashell: supp my hittaa
Maxine: whazz UUP!
The music was loud and the guys were in the back smoked out.
Dashell : you told baby daddy what's good
Maxine : girl get off my daddy.
Dashell handed Maxine the joint

Now I have to choose. If I say no they would think I'm crazy and that I've changed and that I'm not the same as I was years before our last in high school.
I had to protect the baby. I love my baby and I want to keep it.
Maxine: nawl I'm straight I'm keeping it light tonight
Dashell :nothing to drink?
Maxine:what you got
Dashell:henne..
Maxine: never mind
Dashell just looked at Maxine for awhile at the red light.
Maxine: what don't you ever think of slowing down some time?
Dashell coughed and was shocked at what she was hearing.
Kaelub: mane drive bo we finna be late
He said as him and Maxine kissed.
Maxine's POV
When kaelub and I kissed, some smoke was still in his mouth and the smoke on the joint was going into my nose. I had to stop so I pushed him away.
