"Wen! Have you seen Luce?" I asked her as we stepped out of my car.

She rolled her eyes. "Bro, I just got here. May I remind you, I came here with you." Then she walked away.

I pouted at her retreating back.

Walking to the entrance of the school, I spotted the golden blonde haired girl I was looking for.

She was wearing a black dress which confused me. Luce doesn't like black. She rarely has black clothes. Never mind. Wait...why is her hair short? Luce's hair was still long yesterday... maybe she had a haircut.

I tiptoed behind her and tickled her from behind. She squealed. She did not sound like Luce, her voice a little more shriller. She turned around to glare at me.

"Hey Luce- wait. You're not Luce." I said. This girl had dark brown eyes instead of chocolaty brown.

"Luce?" She narrowed her eyes at me and she grabbed my collar, pulling me towards her.

I scratched the back of my neck. "Sapphire, I mean."

She stared at me, examining me. "Oh God." Her eyes widened in shock. But soon the shock turned to anger? "She has a boyfriend now?! She didn't even tell me!" She let go of my collar and started muttering under her breath.

Blondie stomped inside the school. I stood there, rooted to the spot until I heard Luce shriek.

Then I came, running.
