"I'M AWAKE!" I screamed at my alarm clock throwing it to the floor.

I groaned, not ready for another week of school. Also known as.....
Hell. Yay.

"I want to sleeppppp!" I shouted to no one in particular, burying my face in my pillow and tightening the white blanket around my cold body.

You can do this Sapphire! Just stand up and go to school! The positive side of my mind said.

With every positive side...comes a negative side.

But I'm so lazy! You just met negative side.

Shut up negative!

I am so weird. My mind can talk...

I rubbed my eyes as I slowly stood up from my white sheeted bed.
I staggered to the bathroom door as if I was drunk, occasionally swaying and hitting things.

"Oomph!" I hit the concrete wall. That's gonna leave a mark. I winced.

As I entered the bathroom -really surprised that I could find it though- I tripped on the rag, falling face first onto the white tiles.

"Wow. You are really not a morning person are you, Saph?"

I frowned at the familiar voice.

That was my best friend, Gale Beauman. She has chestnut brown hair and she's really short, I think about 5'1. But she's the most popular girl in school.

How did she get in my room? Who cares?! This isn't the first time she's done this.

"Okay! Now please close the door so I can have my privacy! This girl needs to bathe!" I yelled, pointing to myself . My throat felt really dry and my eyes were half closed.

"I don't think you have time to bathe Saph. It's already 7.15am. School starts at 7.45." She sat on the edge of the bed calmly texting on her phone. Wait! If she was here already why didn't she wake me up?! My bestie is such a retarded bitch. That makes me a retarted bitch by association.

"SHIT!" I quickly brushed my teeth while picking out some clothes .

"I'll wait for you in the car," She walked out the door slamming it behind her. Ugh! She doesn't even want to help me!

I put on a blue and white tank top with a matching skirt and brown boots. I brushed my blonde locks trying to untangle it. Scurrying down the stairs, I grabbed a piece of toast screaming, "Bye mom and dad!"

My mom, Layla Light, didn't even have a chance to reply before I ran out the door. I jumped over the fence and opened the yellow Lamborghini's door.

"Oh my gosh drive! Do you want to be late?!" I shouted, furrowing my eyebrows as I slammed the door shut.

Since it was a fifteen minute drive I decided to use the time for make up. I put a thin sheet of pink lipstick with a layer of pink lip gloss, looking at the car's mirror. I usually did not wear any makeup except for lipstick or lip gloss. Gale was driving but she was also singing along to Avril Lavigne's song, Girlfriend.

"Get out the of way stupid driver! Did you just flip me off?! You bitch!"

Wow, Gale is really crazy today, I wonder why.

The car park was full but we always had a reserved space.

Typical popular girls.

"See ya later Gale!" I shouted as I got out of the moving car rushing to my French class. Gale had a free period.

That lucky bitch.

Time ticked by and it was lunch time. And then... Science. Ugh! Nevermind, I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I thought, trying to wipe the scowl off my face.

I walked over to our usual lunch table holding a tray of food. By food I mean pizza and Milo. Delicious Milo. I love Milo. My best friends were already seated down and eating.

Alexis Sara, the captain of the cheerleaders. She is not a bitch like the other cheerleaders, she's one only one of the nice ones. She has shoulder length dark brown hair and turquoise coloured eyes.

Jade Daemon, the kindest and sweetest girl in school also known as the demon, don't ask me. She has very pale blond hair, making it look white, it reached her waist and she had big royal blue coloured eyes.

Scarlet Hamilton, the head student councillor and is somehow Jade's rival. Scarlet has light brown waist length hair and hazel brown eyes. She was hitting the boys at the opposite table for smashing her precious strawberry cake. One tip, do not touch her strawberry cake. Never touch it. Unless you have a death wish, of course.

Gale Beauman, the most popular girl in school and the richest. You just met her just now. Ewwwww. I cringed as she made out with her boyfriend. It seems to be her favorite hobby now that they are together.

These girls are my best friends. Gale's boyfriend is not included.

"YAY! Sapphire you are here!" Gale pulled me in for a bear hug.

As I sat on my chair Hayden left. I don't think he likes me that much though... I used to annoy him into asking Gale out cause he was too pussy. HAHAHAHA.

"Now I can start the announcement!" Before I knew it Gale was on top of our table shouting for everyone's attention.

It certainly caught my attention.

"STUDENTS OF MORTLAND HIGH! You all know me as Gale Beauman. I am having my birthday party on the 18th June and EVERYONE IS INVITED! EXCEPT THE BITCHES HERE!" As she said the last line she glared at Snow's table.

"The details will be texted to you!" Gale announced, casually getting off the table as everyone cheered.

Hey! OMG THANKS SO MUCH FOR TRYING MY BOOK! I'll be honest, this is the first book that I'm writing and! and I'm not even 13 yet (actually I'm turning 13 this year but my birthday is on October so...yeah ). Ehehe.

Sorry the first few chapters are a little bumpy. But the rest are getting better! I know, this first chapter sucks but just READ ON!
