"Woah." I said, looking around.

"Um... Lucas?" I asked looking at his grinning face, "Is this it? Did we climb those demon stairs for this? Are you serious? Is this i-"

My words were cut short when Lucas groaned and pulled my hand walking into whatever it was.

"Don't you know when to keep quiet? You totally ruined the moment." He muttered under his breath.

"Well sorry I ruined the 'moment'." I said sarcastically, making air qoutes with my free hand.

"We're in a maze." He explained, "I know how to get out of this maze. Just so you're thinking, Saph. "

I was just about to say that! How did he know? I think, curiously looking at his face.

I stared at him first a few more moments.

With that face, he should have girlfriend. If he had, then why is he with me?

"Do you have a girlfriend?" As soon I blurted those words out I quickly covered my mouth with bith my hands.

Why did I say that?!

Lucas stopped walking and stared at me, "Wanna be my girlfriend, huh?" He asked with a dumb grin.

I blushed, "NO!" I retorted loudly before retracting my hand from him. "I was just asking." I mumbled, crossing my arms.

"Sure you were, Sapphire. Sure you were." Lucas chuckled.

He's mocking me!

"Your face is scarlet!" Lucas laughed, pointing at my face.

Once he said that I remembered my friends.

"SHIT!" I screamed making Lucas jump in surprise, "It's Gale's birthday party! Oh shit! I need to go back now!" I panicked.

I looked at my watch.

10.39pm

"Sheesh! You scared me you know. What time do you have to go?" Lucas asked.

"I remember Gale said there would be a limo to bring us back home at 12am sharp." I replied, leaning on the 7 feet hedge.

"What time is it now?"

"10.39"

"Well then we still have time we can leave at 11.30." Lucas shrugged.

I wondered and decided to alarm my watch at 11.30pm.

"Well then, let's not delay." He took my hand again and ran forward but a little slower than when we were running in the forest.

Well at least this is more fun than doing nothing but dancing all night.

"Sooooooooo. When are we gonna get there?" I asked in a playful tone. One that a child would use. I honestly feel like a child with all the running we're doing.

"Wow. How impatient can you get?" Lucas shook his head dramatically making me roll my eyes.

"But, no worries, Saph. We're already here." He said stopping in front of a...corral?

Wait is that even a corral? I am sooooooooo confused right now.
