Chapter 5: Waking Up

Luna's POV

When I woke up everything was a blurr, I didnt know where I was and I was afraid that if I opened my eyes I would be back down in the caretakers dungeon, shuderring I told myself there was no sense in resisting the inevitable that is waking up. As I slowly came to my senses I noticed I was warm and laying on something warm, my eyes shot open, surprised, I realized I was in someones bed. I felt a sharp pain and everthing came back in a rush, the nurse, the orphanage, the caretake, my life and in the end my death....finnaly me ending up it in Naruto it all came back, but, it didnt explain how ended up here the last thing I remember was singing an old lullaby that the nurse used to sing to me.

Suddenly I heard foot-steps outside my door, I pulled the covers closer tighter to my body as someone began to open the door, the door opened slowly as if the person outside was trying to be silent. The smell of smoke and tobacoo hit me first, it brought along unwanted memories of dark nights hiding in closets from long boney fingers with it. Caught in my memoris I didnt notice the door was fully open to reveal to a man with dark hair and a beard, wearing the same headband as Kakashi and a green vest.

I watched him gaurdingly to see what he would do

"Hey, your awake" I said awkardly. When the Hokage asked me to go on a special mission for him I didnt know he meant a mission to wake up some kid, although this kid was a little strange from the rest, with the white hair and blank look, in all she looked kind of mysterious and dangerous but, still I sighed couldnt he have gotten one of the Genine to do this, I'm Guy's team wouldve loved this mission. I could imagine him now shouting about her youthfulness or....lack of it.

I was starting to become a bit unerved by the way she was staring at me. I coughed to break the awkward silence and said " the Hokage asked me to bring you to him, will you come with me?", after I'd told her and why I was there and asked her to agree with the Hokages request, another weird silence descended. I stood there waiting for her to answer me, while she just sat in the bed and watched, her blue eyes would flash silver sometimes while she examened me. I flinched under her gaze. It was as if her eyes could see into my very soul, I was dazed by the emotions they made me feel and the almost overwhelming sadness that resided in them.

After a few moments I herd the sheets rustled and was snapped back into reality. She sat up straighter in the bed as if she had finnaly come to a decision. She threw the covers off of herself and climed out of the bed, when she stood up I finnaly noticed just how small she was, she barely reached my stomach and the only thing she had on was a simple white dress. It seemed just toching her would break her thats how delicate she looked.

Slowly she walked closer towards me, as she got closer I went reflectively on a defensive stance. I dont know why I did it I just felt like an animal being stalked by a predator the closer she got to me. I shook myself out of my thoughts and the defensive stance, schoffing at the idea that such a small girl could hurt me.

When I turned my head back to her I stumbled back not noticing how close she gotten I shivered as her now cold and dead eyes bored into me once again analizing me. I was so frozen in fear at this point that I didnt even notice her mouth opening to speak, until I heard her say.....................................

"I shall go with you, Lead" her voice, it was music. pure silk and magic, but with a cold undertone made of ice. I coudnt help thinking it matched her perfectly. This girl who is she?

"S..URE." I shouted half stuttered to her, I offered to take her hand but, she just walked past me. by the time I caught up to her she was already at the end of the hallway heading to the front door, suddenly I realized in panick I never told her my name. "WAIT!" this time I definitly shouted she stopped and looked back at me, when I reached I said " sorry" while scratching the back of my head " I forgot to tell you my name, its Asuma" I smiled waiting for her to tell me hers, when she didnt I coughed and told her " this is usually when you tell somebody your name". She looked at me as if I had two heads then sighed and said

" Usagi, Usagi Luna" and started walking again, I ran to catch up with her. Moon Bunny I thought what a weird name.

Me: WHAT NANI!!!! are you retarted, hell no is that cottend candy haired weirdo coming on my set. the only reason shes in the story is because shes apart of the Kanoha 12, I dont even like her when shes older. If her and Ino werent a big part of the storyline id kill them both off. in fact im still considering it.

Naruto: okay, okay im sorry lexi-chan

Me:"complete mood change" did you just call me lexi-chan. OMG NARUTO UZUMAKI JUST GAVE ME A NICKNAME!!!!! i can die happy now

Naruto: since lexi is out of it I'll invite Asuma-Sensei to do the disclaimer

Asuma: Alexia does not own Naruto. thankfully

Me: why must everyone add the thankyou at the end.........you know what im to happy to even care right now.
