Sam didn't want to admit it, but he had begun to really like Gabriel. He set up more times just to hang out so he wouldn't go insane when he wasn't there. Eventually Gabriel started staying longer, and joking that Sam and Dean's house was a second home. Of course, Dean welcomed him to stay whenever he would like. And that kind of made Sam glad that he didn't have to ask himself.

Sam also started to notice that Gabriel had taken a new tone with him. He was more relaxed.

By now, all the leaves had fallen off all the trees and the weather became colder.

Sam was meeting Gabriel at a park, even though it was kind of cold. But it was still warm enough to be outside.

Sam pulled his jacket tighter around him and fixed his scarf. He had been waiting for Gabriel, and he still hasn't shown. Sam had been wondering if he should leave when he saw the boy's familiar face. He had his hands in his pockets, and big jacket, and a lollipop between his lips.

Sam's heart fluttered. He was graceful.

He took the lollipop out of his mouth and grinned. "Hello Sweetheart."

Sam blushed. "Hey Gabe."

Gabriel began to walk and Sam matched his pace. They weren't going to do much, except for take a walk.

"So, what else do you want to do today besides take a walk?" Asked Sam.

Gabriel spun around so he faced Sam and stepped of the curb to cross the street. "Whatever you want, Sammy. As long as it's with you." He grinned and watched Sam, still walking backward.

Sam's mind completely left him as he thought of what he had just said. This was very bad timing, because Sam had just tried to step over the curb. Gabriel rushed forward before Sam even knew what was happening.

He tripped, and Sam braced himself to hit the ground.

Instead, he fell against something, no someone, and instinctively his arms went around them. Sam gasped and opened his eyes and looked down at...

Gabriel?

"Well now Sammy," said Gabriel, looking up at him. "I couldn't let you fall."

Sam nodded but neither of them let go.

Gabriel grinned up at Sam. Sam almost lost his footing but Gabriel kept him up.

"Samuel Winchester! Stop falling for me!" Gabriel laughed a sweet, ringing laugh as he watched Sam's face turn scarlet.

Sam stuttered. "I- I am sorry. Whatever y-you want I'll- I'll get it for you."

Gabriel's grin never shrunk. "No Samuel it's fine!" He laughed again.

"G-Gabriel."

"Yes Samuel?" Sam loved how he said his name.

"N-nothing. Nothing at all."

Gabriel finally let go of Sam and grabbed his hand, leading him on a further walk.
