The dancing and the dreaming

Hiccup grinned widely as he felt Elsa hug him tightly. He looked up to see Anna waving at him as kristoff nodded. Elsa released him and gave him a small peck on his lips as he held her hand and walked forward. Hiccup noticed that Elsa was wearing an outfit that he had never seen before. It was greenish - purple in colour and it had no sleeves. "I love your dress" he whispered to her as she blushed slightly. Anna hugged him tightly and he shook hands with Kristoff as they made their way back up to the castle. Behind him, he could hear the awed mumble of his gang from Berk. He chuckled to himself. They probably hadn't seen such a big castle before in their lives. "Hello toothless." Elsa patted the dragon as it approached them. Anna ,however, enthusiastically hugged the dragon as he purred in happiness. Looking around, hiccup asked "where's Olaf and sven?" .Kristoff answered "Oh . Sven's taken him riding out. He should be back anytime soon. ".

It was dusk now and a party in honour of hiccup and elsa was being held in the castle.The citizens of Arendelle were also invited to join in on the feast at Hiccup's request.

"All rise for Queen Elsa of Arendelle! "Kai announced as everybody watched on. Hiccup watched as elsa walked forward elegantly to her throne overlooking the hall. He chuckled as he remembered a similar scene when he had first visited Arendelle four years ago.Only difference was, this time Kai announced Hiccup ,instead of Anna ,who was already seated with Kristoff at a pair of gold plated chairs at the foot of the raised podium. "All rise for Chief Hiccup of berk and the king of Arendelle. " Hiccup's cheeks flushed as he called him the king of Arendelle. He was not the king of Arendelle. He was of Berk. What was Kai thinking ? He took a deep breath and did his best to walk forward smoothly towards Elsa . He bowed curtly to the onlookers and then to Elsa,as was the formality. Everyone sat down as they both took their seats. For half an hour,hiccup was bored to death as his butt went numb sitting on the throne end exchanging plesentaries with visiting Lords. "Hiccup. I'd like to introduce you to my advisor , Ogden Huntelaar. " Elsa gestured to a man who nodded his head curtly at hiccup. He was a very stout man with a beefy red moustache. His auburn hair was parted in the middle as it fell awkwardly around his face.He was wearing a blue suit that hugged him tightly, making his neck jut out over the collar. Hiccup nodded back and turned to stare blankly at the ceiling. This was not what he had in mind for his wedding anniversary. Hiccup couldn't take it anymore. He cleared his throat loudly so that everyone could hear him. Everyone stared at him as he felt his neck redden, as it usually did if he got nervous. Valka was smiling kindly at him from the east table. She nodded at him to encourage him. He smiled and then turned to Elsa , who was slightly confused as to what he was doing. He extended his hand to her and said calmly. "Would you honour me with a dance for this evening , my Queen?" .Elsa blushed scarlet as anna began to giggle silently as she looked at them. Hiccup faintly saw merida groaning as she stuffed her mouth with an apple . Elsa looked up at him and said."I would love to. " she gave him her hand as he led her down to the dance floor as everyone moved around, giving them place. Hiccup placed his arm around her back and was about to hold her other hand in a waltz like manner, when she resisted it. He looked at her, confused as Elsa smiled at him. She extended her arm at him in a ninety degree angle. Hiccup realised that she was proposing to do the traditional dance from Berk. His love for her that night increased as he placed his arm around here. Gobber sniffed his nose . Valka looked on, smiling lovingly at her son and daughter-in-law as hiccup began to sing.

"I'll swim and sail on savage seas

Elsa joined in. He sighed as he heard her beautiful voice sing

They danced around vibrantly as the onlookers clapped in tune enthusiastically.

Hiccup continued " But I would bring you rings of gold
I'd even sing you poetry
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me". " I have no use for rings of gold
I care not for your poetry
I only want your hand to hold
I only want you near me."Elsa sang as Anna bobbed her head cheerfully to the tune of the song.

They both sang together in duet
"To love, to kiss, to sweetly hold
For the dancing and the dreaming
Through all my sorrows and delights
I'll keep your love beside me
I'll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne'er fear of drowning
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry meeee!!". They both bowed curtly to each other as the crowd cheered loudly. Merida rolled her eyes at hiccup as he passed her by. As everybody started to dance, hiccup pulled elsa out of the hall and into the quiet moonlit gardens. This was where they had almost kissed on the day they first met. Hiccup remembered it all too well because a few minutes later, elsa unknowingly plunged her kingdom into a frigid winter. "So. How was the party?" Elsa asked him expectantly as they walked. He thought for a moment before answering. "Well... It was warmer than I thought. " he said indifferently. She picked up on his vibe as she said. "What's wrong? Is it the cake? I can change that quickly " . She raised her hand as hiccup interjected " No. No.no.its fine. It's just....I miss dad. ....I wish he was still here . Being the chief of a bunch of vikings is not a easy as I thought. I never really gave the man his due credit. "Hiccup sighed. Elsa smiled kindly at him. She placed her head on his shoulder as she whispered "You know that your dad will be proud of who you are ,hiccup . Of who you have become. You are a leader . The most bravest person I know. Besides Anna ." She added playfully to lighten the mood. She continued as hiccup seemed unresponsive. " What your father knew but you don't know , is how caring and loving of a person you are , hiccup. And he loved you for that. I'm sure he still does. " she nodded to the starry sky above their heads. Hiccup paused and turned to her . He gazed deeply into her cyan blue eyes added nd whispered "I love you , Elsa. " .She didn't say anything but pulled his head in for a kiss. Hiccup's hand slowly crept to her back as he pressed her against him tightly . He kissed her back and it was a blissful oblivion. One hand on her back and one in her platinum blonde sweet smelling hair . He wished he could hold onto this moment forever.
