Dear Oliver,
How's life over in Australia? I hope it's sunny. Its raining here, raining like usual. It's like Yorkshire is missing you as much as I am. School is really odd without you. Really, I'm on my own in a fair number of classes. I guess that's alright, as I should concentrate. But without you distracting me with a funny story or quote, it seems empty in lessons. Yes, I talk to people, but not all the time. Jemma is nice to me though, she always is.
I've taken to hanging around the library at lunch. If I evade Mrs Farden, it's suprisingly peaceful. Of course, I can still hear her stamping around two book-rows away, so that I can pretend to be busy if she approaches me. I've found she won't pester you to speak to her if you look like you're revising. Of course, The Mists of Avalon is hidden safely in a textbook I pretend to be studying from. Yes, I'm still reading it. I guess with all that madness in the last six months I haven't had much time to read!
What's school like? It must be a bit odd, turning up in at some random school in a new country! Have you made friends yet? I bet you have, you social thing! And what about the beaches? Send me some photos to drive away the rain!
See you,
Bonnie
