Chapter 2: Do People Enjoy Annoying me?

After Abbie and her family left, I did my usual nightly routine (which consisted of a bath, shaving, brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, putting on pyjamas, check my Instagram and read an encyclopaedia to learn something new)! Okay, okay I added the last part. Who the fuck reads one of those things anyway? I grabbed a big chunk of my monthly chocolate bar - my boyfriend, Mason buys me a massive one each month, alongside these cute little stuffed animals that smell like chocolate. Oh yeah, I have a boyfriend called Mason. He is a foot and a half taller than me - I'm pretty midge. Anyway he has chocolate brown hair and electric blue eyes.

Mason was my first kiss - 1st grade in one of those caterpillar tunnel thingys. He just asked me to be his girlfriend and me being me just went, "Sure," then he asked me if I wanted to do what boyfriends and girlfriends do. Not what you dirty creeps are thinking. We were six.

Again, me being me, just went, "What do they do?" I was stupid I know.
"They kiss - on the lips!" at the time that was a big deal okay!

So I (quite stupidly) just said okay.

Only, at the end of first grade, Mason and his family had to move to Arizona. You're probably wondering how we know each other now. Well he moved back last year and I wish I could say it went like this:

"Ciara, this boy is looking at you with his jaw dropped! Plus he is pretty hot!" My best friend says.

I turn around, instantly recognising that face.

"MASON!!" I yelled at the same time as he said, "CIARA!!"

We run towards each other and I jump onto him, my legs around his waist and his hands on my hips. Our lips met and I once more felt that piece that was missing...

Unfortunately, it was more like:

I pushed the door forwards, only for it to hit someone's face smack bang hard. Poor kid. I think he's new. I should help him up. I should, but I must finish this chocolate. I popped the last bit in my mouth, before helping the boy up.
"Oh hey Mason," I greeted. Wait what?!?
"Mason?!?! What the fudge are you doing here?" I shrieked. I also might have let go, causing him to fall...
"At the moment, I am just visiting the lovely ground," he said, patting the floor tiles, "It's extremely comfy!"
I laughed...

Yeah, my life is most definitely not some story book or movie!
(And this is the part where I laugh evilly!)

I nibbled on an extra tiny piece of chocolate and grabbed my phone. I went to messages and started to text Mason.
Me: Hey boo
Mason: Hey babes.
Mason: Whatcha doin?
Me: Thinking
Mason: What are you thinking about?
Me: Us.
Mason: Awww. *hugs and kisses*
Me: And not good things.
Mason: What?!?!
Me: I'm kidding babes! I wuv u <3
Mason: Phew! I love you toooo!
Me: Night boo x *gives a sweet hug but has to pull away*
Mason: Night Ciara! *pulls her back for a sweet kiss*
Me: Mwa.
I smiled before turning my phone off.

I hopped down the stairs and said goodnight to my parents.

I walked back up again and threw myself onto my purple canopy bed, my eyes closing before my head even touches the pillow.

"Ciara get up now hunny!" the annoying voice called up the stairs.
"5 more minutes Mom!"
"Ciara you said the same thing 20 minutes ago!"
"Well gimme another ten minutes then!"
"That's what you said 10 minutes ago!"
"Urrrghh I hate you!"
"Love you too sweetie!"
Moms these days!
