Y/N POV

"Y/N!?!?" I heard my best friend Tae yell, snapping me back to reality.

"Yeah... What? I'm listening, that's cool." I lied, not looking at him, my brother or any of my other friends, who were all staring at me.

"Liar... Who were you staring a-" Tae, one of my best friends, looked where I was previously staring, then stopped and had his eyes wide open in disbelief.

"What?" My brother Jin asked, copying her reaction, but getting overprotective... again.

"Stay the hell away from him, Y/N... He's the biggest player in the entire school, he'll just end up hurting you." Jin bellowed out, making me look at him... along with him and all his friends.

"Jin I don't like him like that... for God's sake, I don't even know him. I was just trying to see why the entire female population, excluding me, wants him." I answer back a bit annoyed.

Jin is a lot like me, we are both really stubborn and impulsive. He has short dark brown hair, and hazel eyes, that sparkle every time he laughs, which used to happen a lot more. He's 2 years older than me but acts the opposite. I really love him, he's the best brother anyone could ever have. He has been really protective of me since I was little. I used to be bullied a lot, by our parents and by people at school, and one day it got really physical and I had to go to the hospital for 3 broken ribs, a broken nose, and a concussion. Last year, our parents died in a car crash, which I am still convinced is my fault. Since the crash, he's been really protective of me, but he has the temper of our father, and it makes it a bit difficult to live with him.

"Y/N, if trying to keep you safe and saving you from heartbreak makes me the bad guy then I'll be the bad guy, as long as you're safe I don't care." Jin gently said.

"You're right... I'm sorry..." I said back, looking down at my half-eaten sandwich.

"Hey, no being sad or I'll have to make you smile and laugh... and ultimately embarrass us all." Tae smiled, tilting my head up to look into his eyes.

I just smiled in response. Kim Taeyeong is my best friend in the world. He's a month and a half older than me, a couple of inches taller, and he has medium length blond hair and pale green eyes. We've been friends since 3rd grade and do everything together. He always makes me laugh when I'm sad, and he can just tell when something's wrong. He helped me through everything with my parents... and my brother at times. Other then my brother, there is no one in the world I trust and feel as safe with as him. I don't really know where I would be without him.

"But I mean it about Jimin, Y/N. If I ever find the two of you alone, I will make sure that you're never alone again... even if I have to change all my classes." Jin smiled, but I could tell that he was dead serious.

"First, you can't because you're a senior and I'm a sophomore, and second... I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM!!!" I loudly stated.

"You know what... you're right, but I have a lot of friends that are sophomores too, so I can just get them to do it for me." He smirked

"Does anyone here care that I'm a sophomore too?!" Tae exclaimed

"Ok, whatever... So have you decided which college you're go-"

"Is this seat taken?" A very masculine voice interrupted me. I turned around, and my jaw dropped when I saw him standing there with a huge smile.

"Uh... no." I started but was interrupted again.

"Yes...It's taken." Both Jin and Tae said in unison, glaring at Jimin.

He looked from me to Tae, to Jin, then to me again. When he looked at me and saw me staring, his smile was replaced with a smirk.
