Dragons and Ramen

Jimin's POV

"So I just called for pickup. I'll drop you at the store while I go grab the food than come back and grab you" Jungkook said as we closed the car doors.

"Yea that's fine." I turned on the radio and fiddled around until Mirror by Justin Timberlake came on and started singing quietly

"Are you really gonna call him?" Jungkook asked after a few minutes

"He's a lawyer now... and it's about her not me so he would definitely help."

"Does she remember him?"

"I don't think so... she definitely read about him in her journals though."

"Does she know he's your cousin?"

"I don't think she ever knew... she barely knew me..." Jimin turned his head and looked out the window.

"Weren't they best friends?"

"Beyond... until my uncle got arrested and they had to move."

"Oh wow so what are you gonna say to him?"

"I don't know yet... I'll think about it later." I said as he got out and closed the door

"Alright well, I'll be back soon." Jungkook smiled than drove away

I walked into the store, grabbed a basket, and went straight to the office supply aisle. I got a bunch of cute notebooks and pens and started to walk away when I saw a notebook and stopped in my tracks. It was a thick red journal with two dragons on the cover. I grabbed it and went to the soup aisle to get her some small cups of ramen for whenever she was hungry, grabbed a few things I knew I needed at the house, and went to check out.

"Hi, sir how's your night going?" the cashier smiled as she rang up the items.

"Ehhh. I've had better. My friend is in the hospital so I grabbed stuff to help" I smiled sadly

"Oh I'm so sorry is he okay?" she asked 

"She will be, she has a strong support system"

"Is she your girlfriend?"

"Hopefully one day she will be."

"Did you tell her how you feel?"

"Nah she has way too much going on right now"

"Well your total is $38.63, I hope everything works out for you." She smiled

"Thank you. Have a nice night." I paid then went outside to wait for the jungkook.

about 5 minutes later jungkook pulled up and I got in the car

"This car smells amazing oh my god..."

"I know I wanna get back quick so I can eat... and don't worry I got enough for you to have when you're hungry."

"Thanks but I don't think I'll be able to eat any time soon." I put the bags down by my feet

"So what did you get?" Jungkook turned the radio on

"Some notebooks, pens, and some ramen. Also a few things for the house."

"Cool cool. So like what's gonna happen?"

"Well, we're gonna eat and talk and stay as long as we are allowed to."

"No, I mean with her and all of this drama. Like don't get me wrong I have nothing against her and I love the idea of helping her and being her friend but I mean don't you think that this is all a bit too fast? Like she can barely remember anything, she has all these problems and we barely know her."
