"Ms. Styles!" Her professor called. She quickly looked at the person who owned the voice.
"I said, go in front and answer this problem." Her teacher said while pointing on the board. She stood up and looked at the board. She couldn't understand anything. The only thing registered inside her mind is that, it's Math class, the last subject for today. She looked around. Everyone was looking at her. She saw those familiar pair of eyes... blue... Of course, it's James'.
James was looking back at her and felt pain. Is she okay? He asked himself. He sighed and smiled at her. She just gave her cold stares which made the pain inside him grew bigger. Does she hate him this much now? Did she even ever love him?
She looked away look back at her professor who's still looking at her impatiently. She looked down and said, "I'm sorry, I can't." She said still looking down.
"Just like what I thought. Detention after my class! Sit down!" He said. She instantly sat down and quickly wiped her tear.
Really? She thoughts. She sighed heavily while playing with her pen. At least she won't see her fighting parents...
"Now who could give me the answer to this problem, with the PROPER solutions?" She hear her teacher ask the crowd. A few raised their hands.
"Mr. Harrington,"
"Sir, the answer to that is—"
"The bald head of our Math teacher!" Someone shouted. She looked at him with curiosity. Half of the class laughed, while their Math teacher was red in anger.
"Mr. Raven! Detention after class!" He shout at him.
James was still smiling knowing that he'd be able to talk with Chelsea.
Chelsea on the other hand thinking how stupid he could be. She's trying all her best to avoid him! To not talk to him instead of giving him this cold stares and answers! It's eating her up! Seeing the pain in his eyes! Not seeing him is better than seeing him! Because it means that she won't see that pained eyes, that pained heart... That pained person.
*kriiiiiiiiing!*
"Stay! Do your homework, Page 654 of your Math textbook! Handwritten on a clean sheet of pad paper! With your name! And your bald Math teacher's name! Right, Mr. Raven?" People laughed and he didn't answer. Well, it was his fault for insulting his teacher. He could've done something else to be placed in detention.
"I expect your papers to be submitted tomorrow! And that's Tuesday! No homework, you get a C minus from me! CLASS DISMISSED!"
